49 Years, 354 Days And Counting

As part of my birthday countdown, I'm sharing some of my favorite moments from the past 5 years. Of all the animals that I've had on my show, the most challenging interview I had was with Precious the orangutan. I hope you enjoy it as much as I still do. Love, Love, Love your talk show, The Ellen Degeneres Show... But, really want to know about the old TV Sitcom, The Ellen Show....
Found Season 1 on DVD,,, and want to buy all of them,,, How many Seasons were there & where can I buy all???

Happy birthday ellen! I am 13 years old and every day I come home from school I always watch your show! I am a big fan and love that finally a show host can dance! One day I would love to go to one of your shows and dance with you! Love your show and again HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday Ellen!
I hope you receive as much as you give year round to so many people and animals. I am going to try to e-mail you a picture of me on top of Mount Crested Butte Colorado which I have climbed on my birthday since I was 50 (16 years ago).

You are just precious, genuine, kind, beautiful, generous, and inspiring. I get my endorphin fix every day watching your show and checking your website.

Love your show, love you,long time big fan, wish I could watch but I'm in school teaching the youth of this great country......no TVO. I have an idea, teach my class....wouldn't that make a funny Ellen clip. I teach middle school. It doesn't get funnier than that!

Jan.16 Ellen asked anyone who had seen a UFO to write in. Well,in the winter of 1987, my sister and I were star gazing in my backyard in Waterloo, Ontario,Canada. We had been outside for a good hour on a beautiful clear,cold night when all of a sudden something resembling a small blimp.silently came into view. It hovered over us without a sound. It had small windows across it's length that were lit and did not make a sound. It had come from the left and moved off to the right and totally disappeared although there wasn't any structure blocking our view of the sky. After it disappeared my sister and I looked at each other in shock wondering what we had seen.We looked back up to the night sky towards the left where we had first seen the cigar-shaped thing and all of a sudden there was a saucer type flying object coming from the left silently just like the previous one. This one had windows that were lit as well and it also hovered over us then disappeared in the same direction, exactly like the first one. While each object hovered over us we felt as though if we stretched enough we could touch it...they must have been flying just a couple of hundred feet above us,at least that's what it felt like.
The next day I called the university in town to report this but was told they were probably weather balloons. But I say they were UFO's as did my sister.
It was a wonderful experience!!!

Happy Birthday! You are the funniest most amazing show on TV. I've been watching your show for a really long time. I have scheduled all of my breaks for work and lunch times according to your show. This hour of fun is designated as "Me and Ellen".......Have great birthday! Maybe someday I can come see you on the show.

happy birthday ellen 50 is good because it only gets better. on the 21st. i will be 60. i am healthy and i still work and enjoy my work. i love your show i tape it everyday.

hey ellen. you and i are born on the same day but i'm going to be 52, i mean 42. i'm also from N.O. and my sister dated your brother in high school for a short time. they have been e-mailing each other lately since she saw him play with cowboy mouth not long ago. i saw them this year at the jazz fest with my daughter, they were realy good, had a great time. by the way, the twin orangatangs at the audubon zoo were also born on our birthday, the 26. any way, i hope you have a great birthday and its not so bad crossing over into the fifty zone, i feel great and look better then i have in years. love your show and watch it when i can find the time. keep making this world a little more of a pleasure to be in, love ya, susan.
