We know that you're 1 day away from 50, Ellen, but age is just a state of mind. You're legs haven't given out. You can make it up those stairs on your own! No, you are still so vital and full of life, you don't need our help. 50 is the new 30 and you still have a good 50 years ahead of you. A walker? I hope you had a super day because you always give us one. Did you know that you share you're birthday with Australia yes Jan 26th is Australia day the day every aussie celebrates our beautifull sunburnt land so happy b.day to you and to Australia.

Happy Belated Birthday Ellen!!!! We just love your show, you are the one person who we can count on to make us laugh every day after a stressful day at work. My kids know when I am watching your show, I hear them say, "shhh, mom is watching her show".

We have just brought home a new puppy for our 2 kids and boy, nobody told us it would be so much work!!!! I can't wait for the training stage to be over so we can begin to have fun with her.

My husband knows how much I love to watch your show so he asked if I would like to come see you live. Of course I would but we live in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada and to plan our family vacation to Los Angeles, I was wondering what else is there to do there, especially for an 11 year old boy and a 6 year old girl?

Again, thank you so much for being a part of our day. You are very inspirational!

Happy Birthday to the lady that makes me fight with my husband!

(explanation... )I DVR your show every day. I am a bank manager and work lonng hours. I come home to my two beautiful children and after doing all my "chores" and making dinner ,I FINALLY sit down
to watch your show. Every day. Without fail. So... one day I come home to watch MY show and it is NOT there.NOT THERE. NO ELLEN. NO DANCING.NO LAUGHTER. NO STRESS RELIEF.
UNIMAGINABLE... DID I NOT SET THE DVR?
IS THE TV BROKEN?
HAS SOME EVIL FORCE TAKEN YOU OFF THE AIR?
NO, my husband simply says he saw it taping but he wanted to watch The History Channel.So he stopped the taping.

WHATTTTTTTTTT????!!! ARE YOU FLIPPIN CRAZY ? ( I ever so sweetly scream!) THIS IS MY ONE SHOW THAT I WATCH EVERY DAY... THE ONE THING THAT I LOOK FORWARD TO , TO RELAX EACH NIGHT! DON'T YOU KNOW THE KIDS AND I DANCE WITH HER EVERY DAY? YOU MADE ME MISS ELLEN (and I kid you not, this is how the "conversation" went)WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? DO I NOT MATTER AT ALL TO YOU? AND YOU CHANGED IT TO WATCH SOME STUPID HISTORY?! WHO CARES HOW THE EGYPTIANS MADE THE STUPID PYRAMIDS??(husbands sits and stares at me...as I cry , ok so I am going through menapause and the hormones are a little whacked out, but he TOOK AWAY MY ELLEN!)

Anyhow, needless to say, there was no "lovin" that night,it takes awhile to forgive such a disregard for someone's happiness.

So... ( could someone have really read this far?)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ONE WOMAN WHO COULD MAKE ME FIGHT WITH MY HUSBAND!!!

We love you. Sure, we will never get to your show since we live in Il., but we are there with you every day. ( as long as my husband stays away from the DVR)

my mom just emailed yu because me and my friends really want to make a difference and we wrote a book about teen problems and what parenst should know about kids. I love your show. Your are amazing and really generous ! Man do i wish i was on your show for that christmas episode were you gave out all of them gifts. I admire you so much.

Happy 50th Birthday Ellen!

On behalf of my Fab 40 group -we are 6 women - born in 1958 who since turning 40 have taken an annual 'girls' trip - we've done the spa thing, then gon on to heartier activities such as spelunking, white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing,cycling & winery tour, golfing [this was the biggest challenge - we tried 9 holes but couldn't find the 5th hole] - anyway - on behalf of the group we wish to extend an invitiation for you to join us when we celebrate #50 - in the big apple - we'll be there May 14-19. We have a few rules - no grunting - no talking about the big 'm' [menopause] and no paper trails -we have a tendency to be a little boisterous in restaurants. So,if you're taping in New York, we'd love to have you join us. We'd even love tickets for your show. But if not, we'll settle for Letterman.

You have such a special gift of being able to make people laugh. Laughter is what we all need.If I miss your show because of my work schedule I always make it a point to view your website. If I'm in a "blue" mood, I'm 100% guaranteed to be laughing when I'm done.

I think Dr.Oz should use your show as an example of how to beat STRESS! lol

This past Fall I had the pleasure of seeing you in one of the Disney attractions in Florida. No matter what you are doing, laughter is always assured.
