Dear Ellen I'm a big fan of yours. I watch your show with my father-in-law which my husband and I take care of he has alzihiemers and believes he met you in person.But we love to watch.I know you hear lots of sad storys. But my just seem to keep happenin.I've lost two grandkids to a fire because of the novelty lighters. Then it's just one thing after another. My husband has a heart condition.And up till September I was working aconvenience store and although the doc has releast me they will only give me back two of my day's Christmas is coming and I don't see much of one for my grandkids.We only have one vehicle since I totalled the other one.And I never ask for help But I'm always tryin to help others.All I wish for is peace and happiness for my grandkids.

Hi Ellen, I was diagnosed two years ago at the age of 27 with breast cancer, and in March my cancer came back to my chest wall. Since then I have had 2 more surgeries, 4 more rounds of chemotherapy and moved to Houston for 33 rounds of radiation. I am a single mom with a very precious 8 year old boy, we currently live with my mother and step-dad. Through my entire cancer treatments my mom gave up everything to be by myside and my caregiver, even when I had to move to Houston for daily radiation treatments. I will be finished completely with my treatments December 2 and we would love to come to your show to see you and to celebrate! Even though you don't know us you have been a big part of putting a smile on our face during this tough time. I have radiation everyday at 1:30 pm where we can make sure to watch your show from 12:00 - 1:00, we try to never miss it. I especially love all the practical jokes, keep up all the great work! hi ellen, i am a mother of 5, i live in australia, and i watch your show every day. i even have my hubby tuned in we love the show, and you are awesome. i have missed out on being able to enter the 12 days of xmas giveaway due to livin in australia. i would love for you to be able to say hello to me on your show, i live in a 1 bedroom flat here we pay $350 per week, my car is about to repossessed, i struggle to buy enough food for us to live, school is always costly esspecialy with 5 kids. xmas is going to be very scarce. santa might not even show up. so it would make my day, if you got this email, and could say g'day.

I live in Ocean Isle Bch, N.C., just recently married last September, and we are expecting our first child in April! I actually felt hime move this morning while watching your show :) after I dried the tears, I came to my PC and wanted to write you.. I live in southampton Long Island...I am a 52 year old mother of two...I feel like the family deadbeat..My husband 30 year volunteer firefighter..my son, 26, asst. chief of N.Sea Fire department, my daughter 23, emt and volunteer with southampton ambulance and also a firefighter. Me..I jump on the couch and get out of the way when the pagers go off...I wish I could give back like they do.....I am so proud of them! .so...how about this...would you ever consider letting me help you give out something to someone in this area for you?? The hamptons has alot of unfortunate people. ..Let me help you make someone here feel good! When I get home from work at night, I can see your show at 8pm..so nice to laugh with you each evening! Dear Ellen,I know you get so many e-mails,so please take time to read mine. I'm a Medically Retired Veteran with 23 years service, my wife of 32 years of marrage has MS. We have 6 children, and 9 Grandkids ( sorry for the miss spelling) We both love your show which I watch every day. She dosen't have to many good days. I know people ask for things from you every day. I'm on a fixed income (retirement) so there's not alot I can do except for my uncondital love for her. We need newm kitchin applaces,carpet etc. Ellen I'm a very proud man, and It hurts just to ask you for help. If not I'll understand, I know all kinds of pepole ask you for help.
