I don't watch Ellen's show on a regular basis (cuz it's on during dog play time where I live). But today I made a special point of setting a timer to watch the turkey callers.

They're all great!!

And I've had two Labradors sitting, coiled tight as springs, in front of the TV, listening to the turkey (and owl) calls, looking over their shoulders just waiting for somebody to SHOOT THAT TURKEY so they can go get it!

LOL, great show today, I'll try to watch more often.

I WAS READING THE COMENTS OF ANNIE JONATHAN FROM NY AND SHE MOVED ME TO THINK IN PASSING TROUGH THIS TOUR... YOU KNOW.... NEXT NOVE BER PROBABLY.

Hi Ellen,
I just wanted to let you know what a terrific, warm and caring staff you have!!
We were treated to the trip to your studio from the State of NY when my daughter appeared on your show to turkey call.We actually met Striker in the hotel gift shop, and he couldn't have been any nicer. He treated my daughters so nicely.
Words can not express how professional everyone was and how we were treated like royalty!
Thank you so much for an experience of a lifetime, and for making a little girls dream come true!!
And AGAIN your staff is top notch and probably sets the standard of what it should be like in that industry!
Merry Christmas with the warmest regards,
The Jonathan Family

Hi Ellen,
My room mates and I watch you every day and we love your show. The kids were so cute with their turkey calling. I would like to ask that everyone take the time to remember those who are less fortunate and do not have anyone to share Thanksgiving with. Many are on the streets not of their choosing. There are many battered women and children who have no other place to go.. If we could please take a moment to remember all of these folks..
Thanks Ellen

Cries Of The Homeless

Sometimes I feel like I’m a lost child..
Sometimes I feel like life isn’t worthwhile..
I walk these lonely streets alone..
I walk these lonely streets searching for a home..
I have no one who cares about me..
No one to be my friend, no one to love..
I’ve lost all my dignity..
I only have my Jesus looking down on me..
He hears my prayers, and gives me my strength..
I travel near and far from town to town..
Trying hard to survive, people glaring at me wherever I’m bound..
They only know I’m homeless and treat me like I’m a Disease..
They cannot understand the pain I’ve been through…
The trials and tribulations, no one to turn to..
Only my Jesus understands and has seen..
All the things that brings me here--the homeless scene..
Sometimes I feel like I’m a lost child..
No one to claim me, for I’m not worthwhile..
But my Jesus reaches out his hand--with his loving
Touch..
He embraces His homeless child…
And reassures me that before long a home I will have..
Where the streets are paved with gold and ivory..
And my Father will be there with open arms to
Embrace me..
Welcoming home this lost lonely child..
Finally free from the streets--As I am God’s loving child…

Homeless Man

Today I saw a homeless man sitting by the street

A cup of coffee by his side, with arms wrapped around his feet

No one knows his story, the when, the where, the why

No one stops to see his tears or hear his silent cries

Everyone hurriedly rushing by, where the man sits all alone

No one takes the time to say “hello” or do they care if he lives or belongs

His face all drawn and withered, his eyes speak of defeat

As he sits here all alone, beside the busy street

Looking up to the sky and praying soon “The Maker”, he will meet

As he has paid all of his dues on this earth, you see

He’s battled hard to live this life, yet everyone looks at him like he’s a disease

No one ever asking what brought about his demise

All they see is this homeless person sleeping on the street with tears in his eyes

He is someone’s son, brother or a father he may be…

The memories of a family is all he has and the thoughts of what use to be…

As it is his golden memories of a life he once had that keeps him alive…

But it’s his faith in God, that one day soon--he will take him from the streets and let him die…

Then all the folks who passed him by, will suddenly wonder where he has gone and why…

They had their chance to ask his story, for all the world to hear and see…

They chose to walk on by ignoring the man on the street…

No one will ever know what became of this “street bum”…

He’s just a statistic with a face in the cemetery of John Doe’s kingdom…

When they finally take the time to ask about the man on the street…

The words they hear, will finally drop them to their knees…

He was a man sent by God for all of the world to see…

A man that grows in numbers who are forced to sleep upon the busy streets…

A man you choose to pass by and never take the time to see and speak …

A man who came to test mankind from all the words they preach…

For Jesus sat among us, through the homeless man on the street …

And now he sits in Heaven beside the father on His throne…

Asking how to fix the world, and correct all of the wrong…

As there are so many suffering on the street with no place to call home…

Ellen, I watch your show all the time. The turkey calling just cracked me up. I have to tell you about my nephew..hes like a son to me. He's in the USMC in Iraq. They were on 'mission' a couple weeks ago when they came up on a 'farm' in the middle of the desert. After checking the 'farm' for whatever they have to ck for Mark went outside again where the 'livestock' was. There were turkeys, a gobbler and a hen. Mark grew up hunting turkeys in MS. He's an awesome 'caller'. The other guys in the unit cracked up when he started calling to the gobbler. The gobbler started gobbling and strutting. They have a video that I'll try to get to you ASAP. But they're on maneuvers right now. They won't be back at base for a few days. Anyway, thanks for everything. I can't wait to tell Mark about your turkey callers on the show.

Luv ya

Hi Ellen! I have a joke for you...

What did the mother turkey say to her disobedient children?

ANSWER: "If your father could see you now, he'd turn over in his gravy!"

LOL.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Mary.

Hi Ellen, My name is Bethany and I am 14 years old. I have watched the show since I was 9.You are my role model. When I get stuck in a situation I always ask myself "What would Ellen do?" I always try to catch the last 30 minutes of your show, when I get home from school. If I have had a bad day at school I know when I turn on the tv you will make me feel better. You make me laugh more than anyone. I love it. You are hilarious. I also love Finding Nemo, its one of my favorite movies. I love how you put a little bit of yourself into Dory. I am hoping to come to your show around March for my birthday if we can get tickets. Hopefully we can because that would be a dream come true for me.I cant wait to see you in person. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a very merry Christmas.
From,
Bethany
