Paula Deen cooks up some chocolate cheese fudge for Ellen just in time for the holidays.
Ellen,
I love your show!!!! I get to watch each days show on Friday night. I look forward to my Friday late evenings so I can catch up on Ellen.
Thanks for always making me laugh and for the dancing.
You are such an inspiration to me and so many people. Thank you for all you do. You are so caring and generous to everyone. What would we do without you.
Hope to get to see you in person some day. I would love to get to come to one of your shows.
The two people I would love to meet are you and Garth Brooks. You do so much for so many people that are not as blessed as you. I cannot think of two more caring people in the world.
Thanks again for always making my Friday nights special.
Take care Ellen
and God Bless You
Jan Walker
Hi Ellen!
I just wanted to tell you I love you and your show and I have been a fan of yours for a very long time. I sure enjoyed the day Paula Deen was on your show making the fudge, I watch you everyday and if I can't it is always on the DVR and I watch it later in the day. I love Paula she is my favorite of any cooking host, she is a hoot and you two together are a hootie hoot hoot. Keep doing what you do best and Merry Christmas to you, your family and the show staff.
I tried the recipe for Choc. cheese fudge and also had a similar problem as mentioned before that it was runny. Could you please advise as to how to make it come together and also to dip in the carmel. thank you
Hi guys..I tried the Chocolate Cheese Fudge resipie and loved the taste, but what a mess. When all was mixed together, it was way too runny to roll into balls, so added more powdered sugar ( a lot more) but then it seemed it needed more cocoa. After rolling into balls and adding candy sticks, it was impossible to dip in carmel. The carmel was so thick the sticks wouldn't stay in. Is there a certain kind of carmel you used? The melted white chocolate worked well though so I just used it only. Help please! Where did I go wrong?
Ellen, you and Paula had me hooked when I saw you making the fudge. I ran out the next day for the ingredients. Iced in and a perfect day for baking, my son and I were ready!!!! Ready for them to FLOP!!!! I am so disappointed! I know Paula is the pro but this recipe has too much dry ingredients and not enough wet. I made just as posted on your site and it looked nothing like yours! Rolling into a ball - yeah right! After I added 4 sticks of butter I was able to roll into a ball but when I stuck it with a corn dog stick, it fell apart. My melted caramel was used for 2 apples...my melted almond bark was mixed with peppermint and the rest of the chocolate junk went in the garbage. I cant believe I wasted velveeta cheese like that! I'd love to know if anyone got this recipe to come out right!
Can you double check the recipe for the Paula Deen fudge. I tried to make it and it did not come out like it did on the show. It seems like too much cheese or not enough sugar? Thanks
Linda
Please forward me the recipe for the Velvetta Fudge Candy on your show last week (Paula Deen).
Thanks.
Ellen,
My husband and I watch your show every day, if we are home... Love it!!!
Keep making everyone laugh and happy. It's such a breath of fresh air, when everything else on TV is doom and gloom.
Ellen,
I usually get to listen to your show as I drive home from work, so it was really fun to see the clip of you and Paula making that cheese fudge last week! You two are quite a pair. Thanks for all the laughs and entertainment. You're really something!
Merry Christmas!!
Glenrose
Hi Ellen,
You have saved my sanity many times- love to laugh and not much to laugh about sometimes so I watch you every morning and ENJOY your show so much.
Am going to try the fudge recipe - love Paula too.
I just had my first taste of Paula's fudge I made earlier today. It is absolutely delicious! I can't believe it! The best fudge I have ever had and EASY! I am not known as a cook, but might be now!
Ellen:
I too would like the recipe/information for the caramel and white chocolate used to dip the chocolate cheese fudge in. They looked scrumptious after being dipped in these two but this was left out of the recipe! How can we get this information?
Hi there Ellen- Love the show! You really crack me up sometimes! I would love to try the choc. cheese fudge, but like so many others would like info. on what kind of choc. and carmel to use.
To elen Hi I love the clip about the fudge, I have never tryed it with cheese, but Iam about to try it, because it looks so easy and fun, I have tryed all of the other basic resipes for fudge, and they all came out good. I watch your show all the time the only day I miss and i hate to miss is thursday when I have to go and pick up my son, and i just think you are so funny and I just love it when you dance. God bless and have a safe holiday, and I hope to here from you soon because I have sent you an email before about my son, and I hope you would read it. Go bless lots of love from Laura, and remember the reasion for the holiday.
Please try to get the whole recipe that Paula Deen used on your show this week(Dec.7th). I would like to make them the way she did with the two dippings. That was left out of the recipe posted on your show. Great show always!!! Thanks! Mary
