Where can I begin. I am a single mother of three grown up children. I am originally from Sri Lanka (you know where it is as you showed it on the map in one of your shows) Now I am a U.S. citizen 61 years of age. I got caught to the tsunami when I went to my niece's wedding in Sri Lanka but by GOD'S Mercy HE saved my life. Soon after I lost one of my younger sisters to lung cancer. I went through an awful time with severe deprssion and anxiety attacks. I have a 36 year old son who is educated but he cannot hold a job He has got himself into various problems. He suffers from Bi Polar. He has a kind heart but with the illness that he suffers from he is very depressed and unpredictable. We both have been living with my daughter for the past few years but my daughter says that she cannot help us any longer and that my son has to find a place to live. He is unable to get a job and I do not have resources to help him. He is terribly afraid that he will be homeless and will end up on the strrets. Ellen, you are the kindest person that I have come across . You even find homes for animals, especially Dogs. May GOD Bless you for that.
Is there any way , even in a very small way that you can help me to buy a teeny, tiny home for my son and me so that some day my son will know that he is safe and that he will not end up on the street.

I was off for a month due to thyroid surgery and I watched you everyday. You make me smile! My husband Frank stayed home w/me most of the month but as he worked on his computer from home - I watched your show. Your the real deal. I watched your sitcom from years ago but I truly think your current show fits you best of all. You reach out to people everyday and the way you communicate to us - it always feels one-on-one.

We have three adult daughters who are the sunshine of our lives. We hope we have instilled empathy,love and hope in them so they can be good-hearted giving human beings. You demonstrate these virtues and feelings everyday and are a role model to young women. My hat goes off to your mom and dad.

I just celebrated my 53rd birthday on January 20th so we share the Aquarius sign. I just wanted to say "hi" and tell you that you touch "someone" everyday in a caring, important way.

I started watching your show about a couple of months ago. I came home from work one day, and turned on the tube, then while i was flipping through channels, there you go, I saw you dancing to the tune of justin timberlake's song and i loved the audience and the vibe every time i watch your show. I mean, i come home from work, tired , exhausted ... And I make it a point, to watch your show everytime I come home, because, it makes me laugh. It helps me relax and relieved from all of the hassles that I go thru the day... I just want to thank you and your staff for that... Its the day after Christmas and I was wishing you would have been on T.V. yesterday But, you werent and its okay because I get to watch reruns. I dont mind watching those because no matter how many times I watch you I always laught so hard that I almost pee my pants. My sister and I have been watching your show sence the day you started airing and my gosh you are the funniest person on T.v. I always have to make sure Im home in time to see your show. I absolutely love your show, its fantastic, you are an amazing talented women. I watch it in my lunch break from work, I go to my mums house and sit with her a while and we watch your show together (mum is 82), you make me laugh and make me feel good, you are a generous, honest fun loving sole with a great sense of humour.

I tape your show everyday so that I dont miss too much of it as I only get 1 hour for lunch..unfortunatley didnt get to see your last 4 or 5 shows before the Christmas break because unfortunatley they put the cricket on..I saw the first 5 days and was truly emotional about the show, the giveaways etc...you have found a place in my heart...you are so refreshing and extremely talented..you have a great sense of humour...a very funny lady..and very beautiful

Hi Ellen I am from Australia and I fell in love with your show when I visited los angeles last year.You trulely are a warm loving and giving person and also a great entertainer.I Can understand why an Australian girl fell in love with you.I am going to put foxtel cable on my TV so I don't miss any of your shows.we celebrated Christmas in 105 degree heat and today it will again be 105 degrees.
