We first learned about him from the video he sent of himself jumping over cars. Then, he came on the show to show us his skills live. Ellen convinced Nike to put him on a commercial and Chris Bryant is back to give us an exciting update.

I wrote an email to Nike, telling how great is the new ad about the jumper! It would be nice to see him on TV.

Hey Ellen,
I've sent you a video i made of me doing impersonations of celebrities for your 'it's up to ya'll"' show and i keep checking to see if put it up on your website yet for people to vote but it's not there. i hope you thought it was good. i love acting and making people laugh and spent 10 years in hollywood trying to get a break but i kept getting ripped off by talent agents. could you help me get a break or hook me up with a respectable talent agent so that i can finally make my dream come true. life is too short and i want the chance to show the world what i can do. please help me ellen. i have been a fan of yours since i first had seen you doing stand up in the early 80's on HBO.

Ellen,
My wife and I have enjoyed your show from the beginning. We admire someone of your celebrity status taking the time to do so many nice things for people. I want to share with you a story about someone we know. I have a gardener who does out weekly maintenace. His name is Pablo. Pablo is of Mexican descent and he has become an American citizen. Pablo has a wife and 3 children, one of which he is trying to put through Medical School. He is one the most hardest working and honest people that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He has a few workers and together they do a fabulous job caring and maintianing houses. Just recently Pablo's wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It seems that it is operable (so thats the good news), the bad news is that Pablo does not have any medical coverage. His story is like so may others in this country where thay have to decide to either put food on the table or protect themselves with health insurance. Unfortunately he rolled the dice and came up empty. My wife and I after hearing the news felt helpless. I gave him a nive Christmas bonus this year but this will not even scratch the suface. They had one stay in the hospital (1 day) and several MRI's and already the bill is upwards of 6000.00. He not only does not know how he will pay for this but is afraid that he will not be able to get the operation that is required. We are trying to speak with as many of his clients as possible to see if we could raise any money that way. I was just wondering if you know of any way that this wonderful family could be helped. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank-you Edward & Cheryl Ciuffreda
I taped (yes old fashion video taped - DONT HAVE TIVE) the show for my son to let him know that it isnt just a NIKE SLOGAN or an Ellen saying...you can JUST DO ANYTHING THAT A POSITIVE HEART DESIRES! My positive heart desires to be on your show for one of these remaining days of Christmas. Being that my son and I desired our first house after Katrina and I as a single government employee FINALLY saved enought to get this past July. Now, Jeffrey, my son and show favorite, when he manages a sick enough fake story to stay home, desires to have us when an UNFOUND WII from your show. I desire, of course a TIVO, to record the reruns I have to watch until this darn strike is over, AND TO WATCH MY HOMEGIRL ELLEN bring Joy to everyone and thing she touches :)
Peace Out from the great, returning New Orleans East (we have our Winn Dixie back E!)
I tried to send an e-mail, but the state name kept disappearing??
The Disappearance of Santa Claus
Not for a minute do I believe that Santa ever disappears for good. However, he regularly leaves certain households every year as the children in the house become older & wiser. For each home that no longer expects him to visit, he finds an equal number of little ones who wait hopefully for his appearance on Christmas eve.
That dreaded time came to our home when Lee began his second year of school. He was six going on seven that Christmas. As Christmas approached, we did pretty much the same things we had been up to since he and the other three were born. We frosted the cookies on December 8th. We put up the tree two weeks before Christmas. I helped the boys make out their lists for Santa. They watched for Santa to peek in the kitchen window to check on them. He usually found time to peek at least once before Christmas.
One night, the boys, wide-eyed from seeing him at the window came running to tell me they saw him. I noticed that Lee wasn’t near as excited about the sighting as he usually was. “Where is Dad right now?” he asked me suspiciously. “Oh, I think he is coming in from the barn, I hear him on the porch.” I replied.
He ran to the door, opened it and exclaimed “Dad, Dad, you must have seen Santa on your way into the house, he just peeked in the window!” “ Did you talk to him? Did he come by sleigh?” “Uh, no, I didn’t see anything, he must have ran around the house just before I got here.” Ivan explained Lee looked from Ivan to me with doubt in his eyes. I changed the subject. “Come on, sit down to eat your supper.”
.Later, as I was cleaning up the kitchen, Lee approached me. “Mom, you’ve got to tell me something, I have to know.” He was almost in tears. “What is it?” “I’ve been hearing in school that there really isn’t a Santa, that it is you & Dad that put out the presents after we go to sleep.”
‘Please tell me if that is true.” By the look on his face, I knew I couldn’t get out of this with any more stories. “OK, when I am finished here, we will talk about it.” “You can stay up after Tom, Bob & Jim go to bed.”
Lee learned that we had shopped for the gifts and would put them out on Christmas Eve. Lee begged to help and he became a part of the parent side of the family that year. He referred to this trio as “me & us” as we quietly put out the gifts that Christmas.
After that year, Santa began to fade from the Tippery household. Lee helped Mom & Dad put out gifts and jingle the bells for Santa. In another couple of years, Santa disappeared from our house.
But did he really? I never stopped believing he was out there. Many a Christmas eve, I faintly heard the bells jingle overhead. Even though he skipped over our house, I knew there were more
little ones every year, hearing about Santa for the first time. For the first six or so years of their lives, they wait expectantly for that magic night when he comes down the chimney or in the front door to leave the gifts for them. And the parents dread that inevitable time when the first child starts school and they know it won’t be long before they question the existence of that little man in red.
.I never questioned Lee since he grew up, but I bet if I did, he would say “Of course he is real, he just needed help from ‘me & us”. And I would totally agree!
Merry Christmas everyone & don’t forget to listen for the jingles on Christmas Eve. Aggie
Ellen,
My husband and I are originally from New Orleans, La. Due to Katrina, the loss of everything plus my husband health situations; we are living in Kodak, Tn. Dear Ellen:
I wanted to alert you of a woman who is your twin, even her nature. Same hair color, same build, same everything. I was overwhelmed when meeting her. You really need to check her out. She works at Turfway Racetrack in Florence, Kentucky. Her name is Jodie. She is a bartender, and I am sure you wouldn't have any problem finding her. I really think it would make a funny spot on your show. Please check out!
Thanks
Judy of Northern Kentucky
