Hi, I don't have a worst photo yet but, its going to happen on 12/25/08. The only thing my daughter asked for was a Dell Pink Laptop, I ordered one and just found out last night that it is not due to ship until 1/2/09. I never thought I'd ask any celebrity for help but, listen my daughter loves you and your show, as do I. I tried to at least upgrade my shipping in case it gets done early, I spoke to dell and the representative told me the only way I can upgrade shipping is to cancel the order and start over. I ordered it on 12/12 so I would lose more time re-ordering than just to take my chances. She is at that age where she still believes there is magic but not sure about Santa, hey girlfriend you got any pull with Dell say maybe could we get it shipped yesterday to make it here by Christmas. I am mortified, can you help???? I guess if I would have taken a picture of my face when I saw that email confirmation I could have had the best worst Christmas photo!!! LOL.

Ellen, your show has helped me survive 10 long weeks of recovery. My youngest son was married on October 13,2007. It was a wonderful day and memorable in many ways. Heel of shoe, caught on gown, dancing to "Shout" flat down on both wrists!!! Yes that describes me! Stayed through reception because I couldn't miss it, but after went to ER. Yes broke both wrists. only one bone in one, but 8 bones in my left. Surgery to follow with pins, pain, no hands to do ADL. Think about trips to the bathroom. Well, my right hand is all better, but my left still has 2 broken bones. Watching your show has given me many smiles especially your dancing. Only wish you had come to New York and I could have seen you during Thanksgiving week. Have a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year! Right back at ya! Margie Levins

Kids are wonderful when they are behaving or asleep. :} Kids clothes are cute too.
I don't have kids. I admire other's children.
I got corrected once to not refer to youngins as kids as its a name for a goat. What language is that? Have you heard of that? Should you say children or kids? Does it matter?
Pet photos with santa are also cute. I took my dog every year but he passed away from Lymphoma 3 years ago. It is almost time for me to rescue another furry friend.

OMG those Santa photos were the funniest. It takes me back to when I was a kid and my parents would take my younger brother and me to see Santa. Every year, the photo was the same: him screaming and crying his head off, and me sitting there in my pretty Christmas dress, smiling away. LOL

I've been playing Santa Claus for well over 12 years now at church and charity functions (for free) and it always burns my britches when parents force a child who is clearly upset at the prospect of sitting on Santa's lap to do so. I like to try and work with the child, to calm them down and talk soft and gentle with them, but some kids are so frightened by a strange man with a white beard dressed all in red that no amount of consoling works. At that point I usually suggest that the parent hold them and sit next to me so the child will be more at ease, but many still force their son or daughter up there by themselves, upsetting them AND giving concern to the other kids that are waiting to see Santa. Looking at these (and other) Santa pictures of children terrified to be in his lap, I'd love to ask the parents: was the bad photo worth traumatizing your child during what should have been a happy time?
