I to heard about Vince Mira this morning on my radio show with DJ "Bear in the Morning" I just now had a chance to see his video, and I was blown away. I even had my 16 yr son, take a guess at Vince age, and when I showed him his age, he said there was no way, and that he was awesome. The next new artist is coming up, Thanks Ellen and Bear for introducing a new artist.
I too heard about Vince on Y100 in Green Bay, WI and had to check it out. WOW!!! He is going to be a star-thank you for introducing us to him now!
I first heard of Vince Mira on my morning radio station, Y100, in Green Bay, Wis. DJ "Bear" in the morning mentioned the talent of this young man & played him singing a JC song. Bear said to check out Vince on "Google", which I did right away.
Saw his performance on the Ellen Degeneress show.
Vince is an incredible young man with unstoppable talent, he will go far with a music career. I wish him the very best.
Also, "great gesture" to give him the Gibson Guitar, that was probably a dream come true.
Someday he will be able to have 100 of them, but he will always remember where the first one came from!

People keep saying he sounds "just like Johnny Cash", which just isn't so. He sounds great, and he's got a future for sure, but this is a lot more of a tribute/cover than an outright impersonation.
His voice is outstanding and you have to keep reminding yourself it's coming from a 15-year-old kid. I hope to see and hear more from the incredibly gifted Mr. Mira in the future.
My son,Brady, who just turned 4 years old kept trying to sing the lyrics to this song, but I figure out where he had heard them. Once my husband heard Brady sing, he told me the rest of the lyrics I remembered watching the show with my son featuring the young man singing this song. I couldn't believe that he remembered part of the lyrics when only hearing them once (a few weeks ago at that!) I searched on the web page so my son could listen again. He just smiled and tried to sing along. This young man is truely amazing.

Seeing this young man singing on your net page brought a little lite in to my life, I don't have a TV that I can watch you on so this was the only way to know about Vince Mira; WOW what a voice. I always loved Johnny, as we all did; but this young man has the kind of voice that needs to stand alone. Vince Mira needs to become a stare in his own right, I would love to hear him sing a song that was writen just for him. Singing Johnny Cash songs is a grate steping stone, but I beleave that Vince Mira will be someone to keep an eye on for a long time to come.

My wife saw this on the Ellen show and taped it. She (a Johnny Cash fan) said this kid is really good, you should watch it. When I finally had time, I was amazed. This young man is amazing. He covers Johnny Cash astoundingly well. My comment to my wife was that his voice is actually better than Johnny Cash. Johnny was a great story teller, but his voice (after the first few years) was compromised by his other issues. It took her a few viewings to come around, but after seeing the tape a few times and comparing, she agreed with me. Vince, you are incredible. I will buy your album. Best wishes for a long and successful run. You are a welcome breath of fresh air in a dreary contemporary music scene.

MY GOD WHAT A TALENT! I saw Vince sing on Ellen at 8:00 a.m. West Coast Satellite. When the afternoon show was coming on, THANK GOD...my husband got home from work and I told him he would "NOT BELIEVE THIS YOUNG MAN!" We were AMAZED and STUNNED at Vince's performance! A couple of years ago a young lady named "Delana" sang RING OF FIRE on the ROCKSTAR SUPERNOVA Show.
She was AWESOME with her version of it but did not pretend to sound like the original. Vince has quite a career ahead of him.
Ellen, you are the most genuine talk show host on television. Don't ever become like the others for you are a delight.

He may sound similar to Johnny Cash, but any Johnny Cash enthusiast will notice that, yes he has the deep voice like Johnny, but he does not have the "gutteral" sound in his voice, which was one of Johnny's most distictive features. Nonetheless, I was still impressed, and think that he has promise for the future.

Growing up I remember playing in the house while my mother listened to her Johnny Cash records. When this young man started singing I had chills going up my spin and I got a little tearful. I will be in line to purchase his cd when it comes out.

Johnny Cash is my hero. I think he is amazing and Vince Mira should definately come back on your show. When my mom told me that some kid 15 years old,that sounded just like Johnny Cash was on, I was thinking oh ya another imitator. So I went online and I was astonished. My jaw fell straight to the floor.I play the bass guitar(just starting out) and want to play Jonny Cash's songs. My favorate song is I Walk The Line. If Vince came back I would LOVE to hear him (THE NEXT JONNY CASH) sing that song. My mom said that he was 12 years old when he started. I'm 12 too, and that realy inspires me. I could not believe my ears. This little fifteen year old looks like my nephew JR. and sounds like he swollowed Mr Johnny Cash' s voice. My jaw dropped when I heard him.I want to hear more of this talented wonderful voice.

I watch the show with my daughter. I grew up with Johnny Cash and my daughter likes his music. We thought this boy was AMAZING!!! He has a been very blessed with his vocals. I can't wait for his music to be available.

AMAZING!! I was blown away when I heard him. I want to know where I can get his cd too! He is going to do amazing things in this world. He seems like a sweet kid and he acted like he was surprised to see your audience give him a standing ovation. But, he deserved it. I still can't get over it. I was blow away when I heard Vince sing today. My mother was over, I was touching up her hair and she was in my kitchen and we were watching your show. My mother put her glasses on to look at the TV to see if you were showing a clip of Johnny Cash. She was couldn't believe Vince could sing like after hearing him talk. "Wow" I grew up loving Johnny Cash, I am not a big Country Music fan, but Johnny Cash was my Hero..In the 60's,at one of his concerts in Arizona, (I was 11 years old); I sat on his lap, he personalized and signed a brochure for me (still one of my treasured items)... Anyway I just happened to turn on "Ellen", today; when Vince Mira sang; I just sat there with my mouth open...Johnny Cash is one of a kind, but this talent does him proud!!!

Your shows are always the best but you really out did yourself by bringing Vince Mira to your show. Being only 15 years old and having a talent like that is a true wonder. Any chance you get to bring him back would be awesome!!!!!!!! I know there is not a one person that wouldn't love a gifted voice like Vince's...the only talent I have is a Kermit the Frog impression. What an amazing voice and such a humble person. I truly was brought to tears when you handed him the Gibson guitar.

Today on your show was a big hit for a lot of folk's that watch you. I watch everyday unless I'm at the doctor's office. I am a double mastectomy breast cancer survior, for almost 6 yrs. I was having bad headaches and I had found another knot that had came up on my left side, so I had some test ran and was reading the letter the doctor had sent with great news-----NO CANCER-----and when I heard Vince sing, and then you gave him the guitar. I thought it was a joke...this kid was no joke! There will never be another elvis, or johnny cash but vince was the biggest shock of talent i have ever seen. He might not know it yet but he is on his way I just hope he put his talent and his career in god's hands from which he got his gift!

If only everyone was as loving and generous as you are,life would be allot better for us all. I grew up in the 50's & 60's and I can remember to this day when Johnny Cash first came out with "Burning Ring of Fire." Vince Myra did the song better than Johnny ever did and I applaud Ellen for having Vince on the show. Now if I could just get a CD of Vince's beautiful voice it would be absolutely awesome.

You would've never guessed that such a low singing voice could come out of such a normal speaking voice. He was incredible!!!!! My son likes to sing Johnny Cash and can get really low like that but he's 21 and just does it goofing off. There is definitely a bright future ahead for this young man.

Whem my husband was "surfing" this morning he was stopped dead in his tracks by Vince and turned the volume way up so I wouldn't miss it in another room. Vince WILL be a big star.. his singing brought goosebumps and tears to my eyes. I remember listening to Johnny Cash growing up and remembering how much my mother loved him. The impact he had was incredible and to know that Vince sings exactly like him, is like bringing Johnny back.

What a talented young man Vince Mira is!! He seems like such a sweet young man too. My three year old son and I were just intrigued with his performance on tv; we had to run over to the computer and see the performance again. My three year old clapped and clapped and clapped!
I think Ellen said that Vince is a performer now. How can we follow this young man's career?

this is the 2nd time i've saw/heard this vince mira. he's GREAT. i met johnny in nashville in the late 50s when he was just getting started and my favorite cash song is ring of fire. mira does justice to the song and johnny. i agree that he has a great thing going for him. thank you ellen for giving him the guitar, it's a very good one, and should make him sound even better. you can really pick a winner. love, velma
Hello My name is Brandy Dial and I don't get to watch your show everyday because I'm taking my cousin everyday to have his radiation treatments for his prostate. I always get to the treatment center and I try to turn the T.V. before the older couples get their. If not I have to set and watch Westerns. I am hoping to at least win something becuase I tried last year and could not win anything. I'm hoping and praying that maybe this year I'll get something.
