I marvel at the generous give aways on your show. I was wondering if somehow some of the items could find a very necessary home especially this time of year. A young man (Harry) with 4 young children just passed away in Johns Hopkins hospital waiting for a lung transplant. The transplant did not happen and He died from the virus that destroyed his lungs. I know this is a sad issue and no one knows I am sending this. I hope something can happen for the 4 young children. Thanks

Hi Ellen, just wanted 2 let you know that your show is the best. Whenever I have a bad day I just watch your show and it lifts me up. My day revolves around alot of kids. I have three kids {11,10,& 4} and two stepkids {9 & 7}. I also watch 4 other kids for my cousins {5, 3, and 2 1 1/2 yr olds}. I just wanted to say "Thank you". I was living a great life in Florida for over 10 years and working for the same Employer. The Company is going under and I was let go for no reason. They since then made my life a living hell and destroyed me as a person. I moved back to Philadelphia 6 months ago to be with my Family. I am still unable to find work and have been so depressed that I spend days and days in bed. The one thing I look forward to every day is seeing your show. It brings me happiness and hope.

Hello ELLEN!! I am a 23 yr old first time mom. I have always watched your show as much as could around my ever changeing work schedual, and then 6 1/2 months into my pregnancy i was on bedrest, I have been able to watch your show everyday scince then. My daughter is now 4 1/2 months and everything was well but now I am having to get a proceedure done in January '08 that might then lead to a Hysterectomy, and not able to have kids ever again. But instead of stressing out, I sit back and watch your show.. I buy things from your store and support the charities you do, even with my limited funds.. I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada, and the houseing market is INSANE!! I've always done the 12 day giveaway over the computer since you started it and here's my question...my DVD box was dorked up yesterday and I never got a chance to get into the first day process...is there any way to enter anyway?

Our day would not be complete without a good, healthy dose of Ellen!! We are usually eating breakfast while watching you. Mom, who just turned 81 last month is an Ellen convert. She didn't care for your show at first and I had to watch you on the TV in the kitchen. But, when she saw how much I enjoyed the show she then started watching, too and now actually looks forward to when your show comes on. We watch you at 10AM on WPXI in Pittsburgh, PA. Ellen, You really helped brighten my days lately. I was in the hospital with pneumonia for 9 days and have been home on iv antibiotics since coming home the night before Thanksgiving. Staying home not being able to do too much isn't fun but your show certainly makes my day happy! Antibiotics are all done so I am finally able to start my christmas shopping online and decided to let you know how much you have helped brighten my day. Once I am back to work I will try to dvr the show. Thanks again.

Ellen, You make my day every day. I have a dvr and record you while I am working, at the end of my evening I sit and watch your show fathfully, you make me laugh so hard it makes me forget about the rough day i have had. I especially die in tears with the show of the cut outs where people have to try and fit through or they fall into the pit of balls. The woman with the butt who would of gone through if it were a bit smaller had me so hysterical my son came out of his room to see if I was ok. Ellen, when I was a teenager I had a parakeet named nipper,,,actually all together had 5 of them not at one time of course.. liked the name,,,bird died,bought new one,,,named it nipper,,, they were always out of the cage and flew around the house,,sat on my shoulder,, one day flew out the door.. into a tree,,,brother climbed the tree almost had it and nipper flew away,,,2 days later friends brohter painting a house a few blocks over and this parakeet lands on his shoulder and says "what are you doing nipper" he brought it to me in a paint can!!! true story ellen really could I make something like that up!!!!anyway your macaw story made me think of that!! hey coming to your show on the 18th! can't wait!

My 2 year old daughter Emma and I usually fight over what to watch on TV. She prefers Shrek 1,2 & 3 on a daily bases (at least 16 hours a day--8 hours to sleep). I don't watch any talk shows but yours as you always make it fun and interesting. I watch when ever I can, but am not always able due to not always having TV signal available. We used to live off the grid homesteading, but since July have been on the road living in an RV with my dog, cat and partner of 12 years. Hanging out in TX for winter and trying to find some work so we can travel once again come spring.

I think the Big Box should be named after me as I was born on December 25th so my name is Natale. If you notice there is no i in my name because in Italian it means Christmas. So my b-day cake always said Bona Natale and Happy Birthday.

I have always lost out due to being born on this day, so I joined in for the 12 day contest and hope that this year I will have a 46th b-day to remember. Never know, I might finally get lucky in life.

I think your such a wonderful and blessing person too so many people. My mom was just released from the hospital today after a long battled of two heart valve surgeries. Not only are you the funniest but the most caring person. Like you I make sure my Mother is taken care of, we built on our house to make sure she is close to us after my Dad past on. Christmas is my very favorite time of year. To see the looks on my children and grandchildren's face means more than everything in the world. I have a 7 year old grandson that got to buy presents for the first time last year, he was more excited for people to open presents from him than to open his own. My 14 months grandson watches Ellen when I babysit him. I hope you are on TV as long as you want you make my day.

Have days when it is hard to laugh or smile, was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 1999 at age 38, have had it so bad had 3 surgeries in less than a year and had to quit work in 2003.
I try to be opptimistic about life, yeah it throws curves at you, but you go on.

My daughter and I love you and your show. We love that you do so much for people. hi ellen how"s life with you and tell mama we say hi here in Dover,Ohio i think u r so funny and i just love your shows so if i have to go somewhere i tape your show so i dont miss it,i wish i could there spally on the 12 days of christmas but theres no-way cause i have a really bad back and cant left more then 2pds and have a hard time walking alot but the people there on the show are so luckly that they are cause they all get alot of cool stuff from you like a cam recorder,tvo well you know cool stuff like that i signed up for all of the 12days of christmas last year but did"nt have any luck,did u have to have any surgies done on my back when you hurt it cause i did,i had 5 i think lost count but none of the helped i live in real bad pain everyday with mine and i take 5 diff pain pills for it but they dont help me neither so here i lyi in my bed everyday in pain with i had that chraf mag bed u know the 1 with the heat and massage in it the you can raise up and down but they cost to much money since i get workmans comp my hubby works outside the home but he dont even make anouth to pay the bills plus my mom lives here with us so she can help me since i cant do much and i have 5 grandbabys with num 6 coming in aug plus my 2 girls r getting married my 27 yr old in aug,08 and my baby in feb,14,08 cant even help them get thier wedding dresses and that sucks anyways my grandkids are 2 boys 7&6 3 girls 2 of them r both 4 diff moms by both of my girls and the 3rd is 2 dont know what the new will be yet to soon to tell so anyways hope u and your staff all have a very merry cristmas we cant have ours till the fri after so i can get my ck to buy for evryone it came to fast this year and dont have anything for anyone yet plus i have to buy all the food i need for dinner,love u bye now and take care.

hello ellen. i'm trying to raise some awareness about autism and would love for you to help. My son was diagnosed on nov. 1 and i never knew how little was done for these wonderful children. I was also unaware of the epidemic that it has become in our country. I have done a ton of research and am just trying to let others know about this terrible disease. There is no cure and the treatments are unbelievably expensive. It wouldnt be so bad except that most insurance companies seem to think that speech and occupational therapy is "experimental". I don't know about you but the fact that i have a 3 yr old that barely speaks is enough reason for me to pay for therapy. I would appreciate any help you can give to show people the light. Without your amazing talent and ability to make me laugh, my day would not be complete.

As you are about to turn 50, I too turned 50 in July and therefore so many things that you bring back from your childhood, TV Shows, Games, etc are special to me. My best friend of 47 years, Carol, also a huge fan, lives in Tarzana turned 50 in September. We both wanted to win the trip to be part of your 50th. I was unable to go anywhere for mine and she and I have not seen one another in about five years. Yet we will always be best friends as we've shared our lives both good and bad.

The days you did your show in the hospital bed were the best, I live everyday with a back problem that has severely changed my life. I have my own business and luckily work from home but it's lonely. I have missed out on many events because of the permanent nerve damage. Just last month my entire family was together for Thanksgiving, with the exception of myself and my spouse. Our lifestyle has had to change drastically because I'm unable to handle as much work as I could before. Yet I still know there are millions of people who are suffering much worse than I, so I try to give to others. Everyone says I give too much. But no one gives as much as you do and not in material things but in smiles and laughter.

I've tried to win tickets to shows in Disney and in NY but no luck. And the day you picked the Value Pack winner was the very day that I got the Value Pack in the mail, I was so disappointed.

Hi Ellen, I just want to tell how you lift me up every day at 4:00!!! My 9 year old daughter gets off the bus at 3:55 and runs into the house everyday in hopes that she hasn't missed you dancing!! We dance with you, laugh, cry... what ever happens that day. It is a little bonding time for her & I!!! Thank you for your optimism on life and people. Seriously, you have been a frequent companion of mine as I recover from ovarian cancer and chemo. Would you consider doing some kind of fund raiser in the of September, Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Funding has just been vetoed by President Bush. Meanwhile, 3 out of every 4 women who are diagnosed die because we have no test for early stages of the disease.

We don't have much information about who his attackers are as of today. His injuries are serious and the situation is touch and go. He has 3 4in gashes on his head and he can't move his jaw much, worst of all he is in so much pain. I am feeling very helpless and angry. The Christmas Spirit is no where in sight. We really could use a miracle this Christmas.

I love your show...I watch everyday with my oh soooo beautiful 5 month old daughter that we tried for 5 years to have, (I guess it just wasn't time yet). I would love to go on your show anytime, but especially for the 12 days of Christmas thing, (what a great idea). I know that you are from New Orleans. I'm from Lake Charles. It's only about 4 hours from there. I've been to New Orleans about 5 or 6 times now. I love it. There's so much culture. I can't get enough of it, though it kinda scares me now. Since the hurricane, it's gotten a lot rougher as far as crime and all. I do love the fortune tellers though. I would love to meet Silvia Browne. Oh the questions I have for her. You have been a huge inspiration for me. I was in a wreck about 5 or 6 years ago and my face hit the windshield. I lost one of my front teeth, (which sucks severely). I find that I have a harder time trying to find a job now and I have a lot of self-confidence issues now. I am very outgoing though and I love a good time, so it doesn't hold me back too much in that respect. I don't go out that much anymore and I don't like to meet too many people now. Oh the joy having my teeth fixed would bring. Anywayz, thanx for letting me ramble. HAHAHAHAHA...it's a comment box...it's not like you have much choice unless you just delete my comment, but you would have read it anyway to know that you wanted to delete it...so...I guess...Gotcha! I'm a single Mom who happens to be on disability. Whenever anyone hears that I am on disability-they tell me "how lucky I am". I had a very sucessful and fulfilling career in video broadcast in NYC and I cannot seem to get through to others that having to stay home "is not lucky", actually it's kinda beat. The only good part of my days staying home is your show! It always make me laugh and you have so much that you share. I know the celebrity you have but you never make anyone feel unimportant. Although I don't remember looking quite so wrinkly at 25, I feel happier and healthier and more complete in my 50's than I ever did in life. You sure do help someone get through the day. I love watching your show and if I don't get to I try to see online stuff about your show.
You know so many people ask for things and things for their home. This year I welcomed God into my life and he has blessed me ever since. I may not be rich, or even a little wealthy but we have been thru alot. My husband is military and has returned alive from Iraq and unhurt to a point. He is having a very hard time adapting again and he is suffering inside. We have suffered financially, mentally, physically from him helping fight for all of our freedom. What I want for Christmas is for everyone that reads this to pray for my husband. Pray he comes back to us all of him. His mind is filled with horrible memories of over there and very angry at the world, please pray he'll heal and come back to us. Thanks Ellen for helping me continue to smile when things can be very difficult.

I have a dream for Christmas, (everyone has dreams right?), and it's to have a 5 bedroom house, enough for all of the family to live in, (like on Dallas, haha). My son and his 2 boys and wife, my daughter and her husband, myself and my husband. You see my son moved away from us, with the promise of a job that never came through. And financially, he can't move back to us. :( We've all been unhappy ever since.

Congrats to all of you very, very fortunate people who were able to get to Ellen's show in December. I was bummed when I totally missed out in even trying to get tickets, since our internet system decided to take a nap during the most critical time that I needed it. Hi Ellen, Im 38 & love your show. I was recently discharged from the Army National Guard because I have spinal bifida. I tried to do my part to make our world a safer place. Now Im stuck trying to figure out where I fit in. My husband had a neck fusion done last year and is 35 percent disability now. Because of everything going on in his life I dont feel like burdening him with my thoughts or feelings which leaves me feeling stressed among other things. When I watch your show I am given that one hour a day to forget about how things should be. Theres no resentment at myself, with my husband or with our kids. I used to be so happy with my life and my family but feel like I have let everyone down. Anyway I tried to enter your 12 day giveaway with my cellphone since I dont have a computer but the link wont work for me. I am not looking to win anything for myself but would love to win something for my family to let them know how much they mean to me. Please show me how to enter without a computer

Just wanted to let you know I love you and your show. I watch it every day and I love to see you dance. I am a police officer and am currently out of work I had to have my appendix removed (OUCH). And I am also waiting for some more test to see if I have breast cancer. I am currently having a bad time with finances. At this time I cant even get my granddaugther anything for christmas. well Ellen, like many other folks; I too have entered the Christmas giveaways, but never get even an honorable mention..lol...but that's ok. I'm sure the folks that DO win are deserving and appreciate the gifts. you make the holidays and every day special for all of us and I think we should be appreciative of that. If you can make us forget us problems and make us laugh, even for a few minutes, that's gift enuff. Ellen, I started watching your show last year. I was having my hair cut when the salon I was in had the channel tuned to your show. It caught my attention because it was breast cancer awareness month.I was facing my own breast surgery (which was about 2 weeks away at the time) your guest was wery inspiring. I went on to have the surgery and all has turned out well. I was out of work about 6 weeks and I watched your show faithfully. (Now I record it every day and watch it when I get home. You really lift my spirits at the end of a hard day, with your enthusastic attitude. (which you always seem to have) I have been a fan ever since last October. I would love to win in your 12 days of giveaways. I have never won anything in my life.(Finances are a struggle since I missed so much work last year, it's been almost impossible to catch back up). I have told my whole family about your twelve days of giveaways and have anticipated this for a year now.
Anyway I would like to Thank You for being there, even when you didn't know you were.

Years ago I saw you in my Hometown of Ojai, CA in my brother's family store. I now live in Vegas and miss my home so much :-( I cry all the time even though I moved away 17 years ago silly huh? I just wanted to say your show is so fresh I really enjoyed the Jenna Bush segment yesterday HA!! You were saying if we had seen anything weird out here I did see a Roadrunner on my roof.. But growing up in Ventura,County the scenery is alot different than Vegas. Take Care hope all is well with you & your family....

I live out in the country so high speed internet is not available. I have been on dial-up internet until last month. You have so much neat stuff going on your website that this is my first year to be able to open the contents without my computer locking up. I even get to catch up on the shows I missed and I learned how to play Texas Hold-em.
I have been watching you for years. I loved you in Goodbye Lover - it is one of my favs!

I work during the day so I record your show for later viewing. December 4 the President was on and my recorder, as smart as they are, recorded the speech in your time slot. I missed the dancing wedding couple that i would have really like to see. Can you replay that on an upcoming show so I can see it. Thanks in advance for your help. I love watching your show.I watch it everyday.You always make me laugh.I really like your 12 days of Christmas giveaways that you do.It is really nice of you to give gift to people.Many of those people that win the gifts probaly do not have a lot of money, so I am sure they are really grateful.I wish I could come to one of your shows for the 12 days of giveaways so that I could win something.Unfortunately I am a full time college student and I have two children ages 11 and 4.My semester does not get over until December 22nd.I am really busy with my finals coming up so quickly.Is there any way I could win at home.I would really appreciate it, since I am a full time student and I have a four year old I can not afford to pay a babysitter , so I stay home and do not work.I could really use some help for christmas.Thank you and again I love your show.Keep the laughs coming.
