I heard she may come back to the show. Please have her sing Destiny's Child's "STAND UP FOR LOVE" with the African Children's Choir. She sang that song in an early morning show in the Philippines and hit every single high note and brought tears to my eyes. I listen to it every morning on my way to work. According to her biography, her father left them 12 years ago and her mom raised her and her brother on her own. She comes from a poor family in the Philippines and she wanted to help her mom so she joined singing contests to win money for her family. She is her family's bread winner.
Filipinos did not recognize her talent until after her appearance in Ellen. Some, even to this day, still brush off her talent as nothing extraordinary. Even claiming that she doesn't have the personality to be successful. The reception that she got from Ellen and her audience astounded her. I think she is superb. I hope she goes all the way to the top. Thank you again, Ellen. You are instumental to the success of Charice Pempengco.

Just want to tell you I will never get tired watching this young lady's video clips in YouTube. The recent clips that I watched was the KFBD Program did a segment on her. They flew all the way from Korea to interview Charice. Just like millions of her viewer, Korea is so proud of this young girl's amazing talent. One of the clips I viewed in YouTube that really amazed me was Beyonce vs Charice singing "LISTEN". We all know that Beyonce Knowles is one of the most outstanding artist, but listening to Charice singing this version in a ponytail, with maybe a karaoke microphone in her room and she could be only 13 years old in this video, OMG! she did this version so incredibly good. No professional training or any vocal lessons or what so ever. I know deep in my heart that this girl will definitely reached her dreams. I'm very proud of you Charice. Her voice is amazing, but what really took me by surprise was her stage presence. I checked another of her performances on youtube and she is extremely fun and flawless to watch. I mean, voice is one thing, but she has the stage presence of a long time pro.
Ellen, great show, and it's great that you gave such a girl an opportunity to show the masses what a 14 (she's not 15, she was born on may 1993) year old girl can do... what anyone can achieve.

I Love this girl!!! She is a thousand times more amazing than any word other word that could describe her gifted talent! Seems like there is an effort to block her from pursuing her dreams outside of the Philippines and getting more exposure in America. The girl is really adorable. And by watching her other vidz on youtube, I realize that she's also a nice and sweet young lady - humble and down-to-earth. She is truly amazing on and off the stage. WOW!! I told a friend of mine about being a fan of Ellens; and she said I had to see this....She was right.
Thank you for giving a great talent like Charice a chance. She was overwhelmed with emotions in your show that she cried after receiving a standing ovation. In an interview she had after being featured in Ellen, she said she never thought the Americans will received her as warmly and enthusiastically (as the Koreans did too). Charice almost gave up after a very disappointing contest results where she should have been the clear winner. Her talent was not always recognized. Because of your show and YouTube, the world has a chance to know her better. Thank you again and we hope to see Charice once again in Ellen.

Gee, it's something weird....people are just playing them over and over again like getting mesmerized. I don't know if there is a way to measure talent coz' this girl's can really touch and move people. Can't wait anymore for an album of hers to come out.

Charice is truly amazing! I am asking to have her in your show again, please. :) If you can, advice her to please pursue her career in the United States as people (i.e. ABS - CBN)in the Philippines are taking advantage of her.
ABS-CBN is not helping Charice to reach her full potential. This network claims that they've supported Charice all the way. However, they've ignored Charice when she was starting her career.
ABS-CBN made Charice 3rd place on one of their singing contests which clearly she was a better singer amongst the finalist. No offense to Sam Concepcion...but he is NOT as good as Charice....not even close. Can you imagine? Charice has what it takes to be a great singer BUT they ignored her.
Ellen, now that Charice is making international waves, (of course, thanks to your show, YouTube, False Voice and people in Korea and Sweden) ABS-CBN is claiming that she is a product of their network! Grrr....
Ellen, many are angry because what Charice is experiencing. Charice is known by many because of you, YouTube, Star King, Sweden and Charice's hardwork and determination not because of ABS-CBN.
Also, have you heard of False Voice of You Tube? His site was shut down by YouTube bec ABS-CBN! False Voice had over 5 Million hits alone for Chrice.
Many are frustrated and angry at ABS-CBN. They use and abuse thier talents. It will be sad if Charice will be one of them.
Ellen , if you can, please help this girl achieve what she deserves. I know she can make it big with the help of the right people.... people with hearts and souls.

Charice is brilliant for a 14 or 15 yr. old to sing big songs of big artists. Also, she doesn't have formal voice lessons---just sings her heart and soul out each performance. Just WOW--WOW and WOW!!!! I viewed all her videos in YOU TUBE and I'm just hooked on her. Before I go to bed each night, I just have to listen to her amazing voice!!!She's even getting better!!!With the right people to back her up, I believe she will make it in the international scene. I've been watching Charise sing "And I'm Telling You" and I swear I remembered the first time I saw Celine Dion sing on T.V. I felt the same way. In other words I cried with tears just rolling down my face and I don't know why. This girl moved me to the point that I could say even a man whose so strong can be moved by a little girl with the most powerful voice I've ever heard in my life. I hope she comes out with an album so she could inspire others and make life worth living thru her songs....

CHARICE was the constant weekly winner and always beating sam lopez concepcion but the decision was manipulated by anabel regalado and put charice to 3rd place. anabel regalado is the manager of Star Records who compromised her wrong decision in exchange for her managerial position with Star Records. sam lopez concepcion was the grandson of one of the LOPEZES of ABS CBN. this info. gives you a hint why they chose sam over charice.

Please don't believe those people who are destroying the image of ABS-CBN in the Philippines. I am also a great fun of charice, I first heard and saw her singing only in ABS-CBN and i keep on watching her since then . She got third place in the latest singing contest she has joined not because of ABS-CBN but because of the jurors who has different standards and views about singing. Yes it's true and i firmly believe that Charice must be declared a winner during the finals but i am not one of the judge, and my vote only counts a few. Charice was given enough breaks after the show, she was given guestings and become regular performer in one of ABS-CBN's shows.Thanks a lot Ms Ellen for supporting our "kababayan" in the person of Charice Pempengco, now millions of Filipinos love you because of giving her the chance to appear on TV with the world watching her. i'm 16 year old Australian girl, nearly 17 who loves watching your show and singing! I've never heard anyone like her before! she is amazing. just looking at her you wouldn't think that she would be able to sing like that. That's what everyone thought about me. It was my final year of high school last year and no one except my close friends had heard me sing properly, not even my parents. then i was asked to sing a solo in front of everyone, including the mayor of Wynyard, the place where i live. after that everyone was asking me to sing but i never got the chance to sing after that except for the occasional talent quest which i lost to a comedian! but i still came third.

Charice is truly amazing! I am asking to have her in your show again, please. :) If you can, advice her to please pursue her career in the United States as people (i.e. ABS - CBN)in the Philippines are taking advantage of her.
ABS-CBN is not helping Charice to reach her full potential. This network claims that they've supported Charice all the way. However, they've ignored Charice when she was starting her career.
ABS-CBN made Charice 3rd place on one of their singing contests which clearly she was a better singer amongst the finalist. No offense to Sam Concepcion...but he is NOT as good as Charice....not even close. Can you imagine? Charice has what it takes to be a great singer BUT they ignored her.
Ellen, now that Charice is making international waves, (of course, thanks to your show, YouTube, False Voice and people in Korea and Sweden) ABS-CBN is claiming that she is a product of their network! Grrr....
Ellen, many are angry because what Charice is experiencing. Charice is known by many because of you, YouTube, Star King, Sweden and Charice's hardwork and determination not because of ABS-CBN.
Also, have you heard of False Voice of You Tube? His site was shut down by YouTube bec ABS-CBN! False Voice had over 5 Million hits alone for Chrice.
Many are frustrated and angry at ABS-CBN. They use and abuse thier talents. It will be sad if Charice will be one of them.
Ellen , if you can, please help this girl achieve what she deserves. I know she can make it big with the help of the right people.... people with hearts and souls.

Hello Ellen, your show with Charice Pempengco was the most entertaining show I have ever seen since seeing Josephine "Banig" Roberto when she performed here in the US on many shows when she was 9 yrs old. charice' voice is so addicting that when i first saw her performance in starking, i spent the whole night listening to her song over and over again...i felt the goosebumps up until now...whew!

This young girl is on her way to stardom. I think she absolutely adores her mother. She says mom instead of man. That says a lot for a 15 year old young lady. ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING. Her voice is amazingly strong and powerful. She shouldnt be compared to anyone. Everyone has their own talent to showcase. I hope and pray she stays humble because the industry will eat her alive. Lets keep her in our prayers. Wonderful.
