Hi Ellen, We just watched your show on Tuesday and you said if anyone knew someone who tries to brighten other peoples days to let you know. Well, my wife is one of those eternal optimists that believes that her smile and songs might be the only ones some people get in a day. She sings Randy Travis songs every night to our 10 year old and she sings the songs she has written as she works in our pizza/convenience shop. She has written songs as long as I can remember but she has 2 that are really good. There are only 2 things that I can recall that she has ever said that she would love to do that she doesn't believe she can accomplish, one is to drink a beer and laugh with Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLUIS And to have someone like Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, or Gretchen Wilson perform one of her songs. My wife tries to save every creature, lost soul, and child she comes in contact with, and I would love to see her dreams come true. Also, she's a complete cut up. I have just moved over to the US after spending 2 wonderful years in London UK due to my husbands work commitments. We are originally from Sydney Australia and I miss home terribly, but i seem to switch off and have a dance and a giggle when your show comes on each day.....i make sure everything is done and i have a good ole cup of English tea to drink while watching your show...i hear you are coming to NY, it would be great to watch your show live.....BTW - Your birthday is also shared with Australia Day...Jan 26....so much in comon don't ya think.

I am a mother of 5 and step-mother of 1. I am off work currently because I had a baby 2 months ago.....She has colic. She screams most of the day and night I just don't seem to have as much laughter in my life since a screaming baby has entered our already busy world. You always make my laugh and your show is an asset in my life! Thank-you for what you do!

Am I a bad mom..I make my 2 year old turn off cartoons so I can watch your show! Since he doesnt understand half of what goes on during your show he gets SOO excited when the music starts and you dance. He dances right along with you! The only thing is he dances on my coffee table cause he cant go over it like you can, but how can i get mad..he learned it from Ellen!!

I also just turned 50 in October and would love it if you could send some of your special American generosity to your neighbours and one of your favorite viewers here in Niagara Falls Canada. We also just celebrated our 30 wedding anniversary and didn't even go on a trip... We would just love you forever!!! LOL
