My Thought...And I Do Have One

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

I’m not picky. I like most food. I don’t like vegetables very much. I don’t like cooked fruit. I don’t really like candy, although, I do like butterscotch. I think it’s because I like butter and I like scotch.

I get defensive when somebody says, “just try it, you might like it”. I know I don’t like anchovies, and never will, but people say, “you’ll like them how I make them.” Really? Do you make them without anchovies? Or they’ll say, “you won’t even taste them”.

Then why put them in? Throw it back in the sea if you can’t taste it. I wonder if sharks like anchovies. They eat license plates. I’m sure they don’t mind an anchovy. I don’t think animals are that picky. You’re not going to hear a lion say, “I don’t really care for gazelle, it’s too gamey.” Or, “I tell ya, I love zebra, but it does not love me.”

There are people who will eat anything even if they don’t like it because that was the way they were brought up. That’s just not me. That’s not my M.O. …Ellen don’t play that. I was brought up to say, “can I get this with more flavor?” Or, “eww, do you have anything that’s not this?”

please please please can you have jensen ackles on your show.. i really have this huge crush on him and i think ive emailed you twice .. please.. i wish i could see him. but im all the way in canada.. and even though his shoot is a couple of hours away they keep the sites really hushed up.. please ellen jensen is soo amazing as a person and as dean winchester - the character he plays on the series supernatural.. youve have jared and you really should have jensen.. theyre like brothers and youve only had one.. oh please ellen. i watch your show everyday since the time ive started.. and im truly a fan. i even like stryker.. thanks ellen and please again.. !

Hi!

The first two sentences were politically correct. The next conflicting ones might cause the nutritious-conscious to start channel-searching for Dr. Oz. Oh, my! Maybe you'd better throw a carrot, some broccoli, and a little cooked tomato sauce in that pasta once or twice so that you can tell millions of people how much you love those fruits and veggies!

Ellen,today I watched your show and I have two words of advice. Don't show your feelings on your sleeve, and don't bring your work home with you. As a professional I broke both. Being an Aquarius I understood your monologue, but that's not important. I have been out of work for one year. Your sincere speach about valleys and peaks hit a very soar note. TODAY I just wanted it all to go away. I was removed from my position as a Santa Barbara Superior Court Judge almost one year ago, for domestic abuse(the Commission will say otherwise but that's the real reason). I NEVER abused her, and I have nothing bad to say about her. Actucally I went to jury trial on the abuse allegations and was found not guilty. Enough about me, you can google me under my former title and find all the details. At this time I wanted to say thank-you for allowings your feelings to be shown. I've never spoken publicly about this before and I hope it will remain so. You are very talented, no one but you can take that from you. Respectfully, ME

I am a picky eater too. The only fruit I will eat is grapes, bananas, peaches, and pineapple. The rest makes me gag. Actually I have a problem eating things you don't HAVE to chew. Like pudding, grits, jello, etc. I guess it's a good thing that there's only 2 veggies I won't eat. I also don't do sweets or chips and stuff like that.

You are completly right.I will not eat any thing that looks or smells gross.exspecially anchovies.And no im pretty sure sharks dont eat anchovies because no one else does.I dont like most food cause its gross but at the same time im a pig.Im 13 and ive eaten like 5 different things in my entire life.I also like butterscotch.

Hey, I agree with you. If ya ain't gonna taste it why put it in? And if you have to put katch-up or mustard on it to hide the taste, why would ya eat that? I was brought up to eat everything on my plate, even if it taste like do-do. I was so glad when I got my first place. I sang while sitting with my elbows on the table and threw most of my plate in the garbage. Keep it real!
