Dear Ellen,

I live in Arkansas and I just wanted to say thank you for helping out the sometimes forgotten animals of this world. I was especially grateful to you because I think that sometimes Arkansans get overlooked by the media and by celebrities. We do have great warm-hearted people down here. And we all love you Ellen!

ps..I love your show and watch every day.

Hi Ellen, my name is Brittany James I am 19 years old and I live in Ontario. I watched your show the other day and started crying, I think what you did for Jancie is amazing. I work at 2 different animal hospitals, I swich every other day and have 14 animals of my own. Dogs, cat, ferrets, lizzards, snakes, chickens, and button qual. I love animals with all of my heart, but I have never seen that animal with the big horns before, I tried telling my boyfriend about it but i forget the name, any info would be great just so i can do some research of my own. I am planning to start my own shelter one day aswell.

Ellen,
Thank you for doing this story. Please keep us posted on Janice & her animals. I am sure many of your viewers would like to donate to her so maybe you could post her address. Thanks

Just wanted to comment about this being a great segment. Loved it when she hollered for the animals and they all came and then at the end when they all came into the picture. Just good tv and a great story!

You're the best!

Ellen after watching this segment I too thought about "Volunteer vacations". My 8yr. old son and I would love to spend a week on her farm helping her and getting to know the animals..... What do you say, can you see if she'd be interested?
BTW, you are awesome and thanks for making me laugh and dance everyday.

Hi Ellen. I'm a 19 year old college student living in Wisconsin and I saw your episode with Janice. I would love to help her out. I decided every time I get an urge to buy clothes or shoes I would instead LOVE to send Janice some money. I was curious if you could give me her home or email address. I can't find it over the internet so I figured I could just ask : ) thank you.

Hi, Janice, We watched you on Ellen and love you for what you all do for the animals! We are animal lovers also. Right now we have two dogs, a brother and sister and they are 6 yrs old. Well they have seizers, the female is worse then her brother and is on 4 tabs. of phenobarbital a day, but still gets them once and awhile. Do you have any suggestions to help us with this problem. Maybe something though diet??? Ellen thanks for all that you do for EVERYBODY!!! AND EVERYTHING!! Love you very much!!! Barb and Kathy from Milwaukee, Wi.

The story on Janice and her animals was wonderful. But here's an idea. I've been looking into "volunteer vacations" like Habitat for Humanity builds etc. But, my real love is with animals. Is there a way we can volunteer our time to help out Janice? Does Janice have a website?

Ellen, keep up the great work!!!

I have a 3year old Esky-poo dog who has seizures. I was wondering if Janice could share her diet that she put the zebra on for his seizures. Kylee, my dog, is on alot of medications for her seizures and I would like to reduce them. Please ask Janice to e-mail me. Kylee and I would greatly appreciate this information. Thank you.

Dear Ellen,
Can't tell you how happy we were to see you help Janice, she is trully deserving of it. You are trully a wonderful person. Can't imagine ever missing your show. Thank you for making things happen, for bringing laughter every day and for being such a great person!!
PS: Would love to see after the fact how the new shelter turns out!

Ellen,
we rescued a dog from spain. She brings the sun into our life. The dogs without an owner will be killed over there. For a little money everybody can help them there.
Around christmas the situation becomes worse. Please think all, before you are buying a pet. Don´t buy it as a present! Having a dog or another pet is a decision for the whole family - so think before.

Hi Ellen, When I told my daughter about Janice Wolf she couldnt believe it. She lives less than 5 miles from Janice in Gassville, Ar. She said people are always dropping off unwanted animals in that area, & she said you are such a nice person to help Janice out that way. Where do they all sleep at night? I worry, because it is going to be freezing cold later this week & probably for the whole winter. I hope the sleeping/play area for the animals will be built as quickly as possible. You are a very sweet lady & I know God will bless you. I watch your show every day. Are you doing your own writing while the writers are on strike?I was wondering what happened to Johnny, your last DJ? I do like Striker but also miss Johnny. Take care..Kathy form Arkansas

Ellen, I saw the preview for the misfit animals and then got called in to work and MISSED IT! All the rave review here makes me know in my heart I missed something REALLY BIG! Whatever you did to lend a hand, I just KNOW it was spectacular. We animal lovers need to stick together. I am 40 and I want to let you know that you are a role-model of mine. We have a lot in common: loving animals and loving laughter! You go girl! One day at a time, we can make a difference.
