It's Lunch Time!

Hola watchers of my lunch. Today I am lunching from south of the border with these delicious organic chicken fajitas (Pronounced: fah-heat-as. The j is silent.) filled with red and green peppers, zucchini, onion and cheese and wrapped in flour tortillas (pronounced: tort-tea-as. The ll is silent.) There are also some black beans and rice (pronounced: black-beans-and-rice. Nothing is silent. All the letters are loud and clear.) There is also some roasted tomato salsa (pronounced either: to-matt-oh or to-may-toe) and guacamole (pronounced: gwak-a-mole-eee.)

I love guacamole. I'm thinking of planting some guacamole bushes in the back yard. I've always wondered how the guacamole keeps from dripping off the stems. Now I can see for myself.

But for now, I shall eat my lunch. Adiós,

Ellen (Pronounced: Ellen. the second l is silent)

Hola Ellen!

Me encanta esta sección, mas cuando indicas la pronunciación de las palabras en espanglish digo, en español jajaja.

Would you be able to do a international comercial in spanish?? that would be great!!! Hilarious as always. Something like: "estas viendo el show de Ellen DeGeneres". hehe

Your fan in Mexico City.

Love, Gaby.

Hi Ellen, {did I say that right?} {Just pronounce one l right?!}

Your meal looks a lot more filling today! I love black beans, they are so YUMMY!! I had some last night for supper, I also made Tuna Casserole{ my sons favorite, but he hates the black beans!} It probably sounds weird or gross to some people but my husband and I like the beans mixed in with the Tuna Casserole, It's good with the juice, or whatever you call it, from the black beans!! IT'S GOOD!!!!!!

Glad to get the chance to see you on t.v. everyday, love ya!! Keep the fun coming!!! You're soooo funny!

your fan,

denise :}

Hola nina!

Guacamole is wonderful, but you shouldn´t pronounce the end of that word "-eee" instead of the right "e", like the e in the word end. As more garlic you put in the cream as much fun with people you are living close with...
Hasta la vista!

P.S.: You are wearing the same watch like me. Were did you get yours?

Good evening ellen,
it's pretty late here on the east coast, thought I'd check in with my ellen friends and see what's shakin while I drank my tea!
sorry I missed your show again today. finally got rid of that wonderfully friendly although neutered (yes, he tried a few times to mate with my little Lilly as well as my five year old daughter's leg) bulldog of my ex's. Sending one son on a plane tomorrow for a funeral, the other son to Mass General for another appointment. You probably have no idea what I'm talkingabout, getting a Gazillion emails and all, and you probably won'tread this either. But somebody will, and that person might care! Anyway, late night rambling, end of a long, stressful, emotionally draining day! But I am super grateful for so many things, especially fresh water to drink! and fajitas of course. Except I like to make them fried in a pan, with a little olive oil to crisp them up, then cut em up like a pizza, and dip em in sour cream, yummmmmy! Night ellen, hope you have a wonderful, productive day tomorrow! Beth

OMG, I had chicken fajitas for lunch today too! not organic though - went to Baja Fresh. I think the girl at the counter was named Jill - what would her name be in Spanish? If the J and LL are both silent, would it be "eee"? Huh.

Back to your lunch - it's beautiful, but in my opinion, your place setting could use a little more color. I love that little blue plate you have - maybe a new placemat to coordinate or something to lively up the background against that brown table.

Although no matter what your lunch looks like, I'll still love to watch your show. Keeps me laughing and I really need that. Thanks for the free therapy everyday!!!
Luv,

Ellen, Did you report some of my emails to the feds? Love? Because, I've been informed that my emails to Ellen Degeneres might be considered stalking dignitaries. Really I want to know who is telling my sister that. Who?

Love, HoneyBunny.

Hey Ellen,
This is Annie again you remember the girl who wants hannah montana tickets!! We'll get this they have a contest on radio disney and you win tickets for four to see her front row and you get backstage passes to meet her!!! The problem is that it started today and ends november 30th! That is only three days!!! But, you can only enter once a day and you have to know the code word which i keep missing! No one else in my family will listen to the radio while i am in school to listen for the codeword so i was wondering if you would and then tell me what it is so i can enter. Please like i said in all my e-mails-if you read them it means so much to me and i can't even tell you how much it would mean to mean if i won that contest! So please please listen please!!!!!

P.S. some e-mails were titled Annie-Robin (my mom)
