Dear Ellen,
How in the world did I miss out on my fantasy possibly coming true. As a stay home Mom I don't get out much. Sometimes when I'm really lucky I dream about Duane Johnson. In my dreams we're always doing something mundane like comparing our gardens or looking for missing shoes.
Still, I wake up somewhat sweaty and heated.

I"m so sorry I missed my chance to date Duane.
What a total bummer.
Anyway Ellen, thanks for putting a smile on my face every day that I watch your show. You Rock...no pun intended.

I have to say I’m so not impressed with Dwayne Johnson in terms of the fact that he is lying to his fans. I totally understand that relationships change and I admire him and Dany for the way that they have conducted their split and their divorce. What I don’t appreciate AT ALL is that he has constantly lied over the last year or more on all these chat shows, entertainment programmes (Ellen Degeneres and Entertainment Tonight to name but two) that he is single, when in fact he has been in a relationship with Lauren Hashain for nearly TWO YEARS!!!

I don’t have a problem with him moving on, I say good luck to him and I know people have been saying some horrible things about Lauren but she is what he wants and she obviously makes him happy otherwise why would he be with her. What I don’t like is that fact that he has constantly made out to everyone that he is single, when in fact he’s in a relationship. It really reflects negatively on his character. He (or his very bad PR machine) has underestimated people’s intelligence. If your marriage breaks down and you move onto someone else (before you’re divorced), so be it. That’s life and this happens all the time. People accept that. But don’t be sneaky and lie to the whole world that you’re single when there is CLEAR EVIDENCE that you are not. I really admired Dwayne before but now he has shown me who he really is, a two faced liar and this is a stain on his character which, if he had handled the whole situation honestly and openly from the out set, would never had happened.

I really liked Dwayne before but now I'm not sure I can believe anything that comes out of his mouth!

I know that you have most likely been innundated with emails from women wanting to win a date with Dwayne Johnson. I will admit that I have always wanted the chance to meet Dwayne myself, and short of producing a Hollywood movie, I realize that it is a dream that will most likely not be fulfilled. His mesmerizing smile has always captured my attention, and his apparent sense of humor is quite refreshing.
As a 32 year old happily divorced mother of one beautiful daughter, I can truly understand what he is currently going through with the end of his marriage, and I sincerely hope that he gets through this life change with the most minimal amount of stress.
Once he decides to enter the dating scene again, perhaps he would consider having some sort of contest, such as an essay, to allow women to express their most sincere wishes to meet him. I, of course, would volunteer to meet with him to see what he is looking for in a woman, and I would screen all entries. :) LOL And, since he recently said that he is looking for "Bea Arthur" in a woman, when asked on an entertainment show (which made me chuckle quite a bit)...I would be willing to pull my hair up and wear a wig that matches Bea's. LOL
Have your people call my people (he he he) and we can set all of this up, should you decide to create this contest, with Dwayne's approval, of course.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE ROCK!!! When I was younger my brother got me into wrestling and I immediately fell in love with his character. I also read his 500 page autobiography in one day because I was so intrigued by his life and accomplishments - I was only 14 or 15 at the time. First of all, the correct spelling for Mr. Johnson name is Duane, not Dwayne, Dewayne and some of this other crazy die hard fans spelling. If you are die hard you would know how to spell his name. That should be included in whether or not you will be picked. Plus the young lady that went to school with him,,,why are you begging to meet him in person and you went to school with him...duh...you've already met him...anyway..Duane..much success in finding happiness. Ask God to send you your mate. With love and much respect for your God given talents and that smile that lights up the Grand Canyon!
