Amazing site.
Thanks, webmaster.

Dear Ellen, I love your show! I also loved your book, bought several for friends who needed a laugh. The reason for my "note" is to try to help a dear friend. Debbie is an incredibly giving woman, who has spent her life rescuing dogs. She started the first no-kill rescue several years ago and hasn't stopped even though she is very ill. In October of 2006 doctors discovered her cerebellum had atrophy, and had no medical reason, nor did they have a cure. She has been to more than 30 specialists, with dissapointment each time. To make matters absolutely devastating, her husband died of a heart attack a month ago. They were already in dire straits with medical bills, and no life insurance, now Debbie needs something positive in her life to look forward to. can we get her on your show, and maybe get her some help? She would be thrilled to death to just have dogs rescued, but we want to do something for her. We thank-you in advance for anything you can do!

Sincerely,
Cheryl Griffiths ( and friends of Debbie)

hey Ellen. i love your show so much! my mom and sister all watch your show everyday. even though I'm

still love you!
you rock,
Gabriella Falco

Ellen, thank you so much for having Josiah on your show....I was so sad to see that he didn't make the top 24; he should have! He reminds me of the World Idol 2001, Kirk Nilsen. You have made a lot of people happy by having Josiah on your show...thanks, thanks, thanks! My heart was broken when he didn't make it; now I feel better.

Hi Ellen, I just want to thank-you for exposing the disgusting and barbaric actions the of the Japanese whaling and dolphin industry. I feel hopeless and helpless as to what I can do to help? I am praying that you will continue your efforts in bringing attention to this appauling reality. I pray that I will soon live in a world someday whereby ALL people can give animals the respect and love they deserve. As humans, we SHARE this earth, we don't own it. Obviously we are not the smartest in the food change since many of us continue to act like selfish, uneducated, vicious animals. Please don't stop this crusade. Love Kara~XO

I live in Australia and I am desperatley trying to email the ellen show with some information, but for some reason I am unable to do this, I keep getting a message telling me I have not filled in the required information yet i have.

I want to share an amazing story about an Australian woman who puts her life on the line to fight for the rights of terribly abused animals.

Can anyone help me out?????

Thank you.

Stephanie

hey ellen! i used to watch ur show all the time but now i can't because i have practice after school and i don't get to see it.
but the one day i didn't have practice and i saw the show with hayden on it, she's one of my favorite actresses and i was compelled to hear that she actually tried to prevent those poor dolphins from dying. when the video clip came up and showed hayden crying, i couldn't watch. i'm an avid animal lover but my favorite are dolphins of all types. one day i hope to become a marine biologist and help these magnificent creatures from becoming extinct. it makes me sick to know what people of today's world are doing to our world. we act like that whatever animal there is, it is ours for the taking which it is not. we humans are a disgusting animal.
i want to thank you for letting everyone who watches your show to see how much you care for animals. GO ELLEN!!

I was truly appalled by the footage shown on the whale and dolphin hunting that occurs in Japan. I also read one of the other comments on here by a person of that ethnic background and i personally did not find any direct insult to the Japanese people on a whole.

I thank you for the information and I feel that appealing to the Japanese to stop their cruel and barbaric ways of slaughter is just one step to stop killing dolphins and whales. I am sure there are more involved in this industry than just that one country. And if there was no money to be made from it then maybe it would stop, perhaps a show on who is purchasing the resulting product from such hunts can also be exposed for their part in all of this.

Thank you Ellen, it was definitely sad and appalling, but definitely an eye opener.

how could anyone hurt a dolphin? what a sin!!

Its heartbreaking to find out dolphins, intelligent and beautiful creatures, are being slaughtered. I live by the beach and I go out on dolphins watches whenever i get the chance. They are absolutley my favorite animal(you should see my room, Full of Dolphin figurines and pictures). Last year I was watching tv, when i came across a documentary of the slaughtering of dolphins! I witness the most horrifying, disturbing image that day, i even started to cry! Im glad there are people out there that see the greatnes in dolphins and want to make a difference. If i could i would be right there with hayden! but i can make a difference by helping the best i can!

I was very shocked to hear about dolphin killing in Japan and the way we were attacked almost as your "enemy." I am a Japanese but I have never heard of anything like this in my life. Are you 100% sure this is from Japan?
Being a minority in North America we don't get a lot of chahce to prove ourselves and we are often offended by these misled information. Please be more sensitive when you voice your opinion on these issues. You voice is powerful and people believe what you say without even doubting the authenticity of the information.
Being an animal lover myself, I am deeply offended and dissapointed to see all these comments here condemming "Japanese" as a whole.
People still kill/hunt deers using a bow in North America. How come there's nothing mentioned on this cruelty?
Please be a bit more sensitive and fair, and do not comdemn the country and its people, accuse the one that's responsible.

Hi Ellen- I am writing to invite you to Longview Washington. Our city is one with lots of trees, a man-made lake, a view of Mt. St. Helens and bordered by the Columbia River. We are right off I5 about 45 miles north of Portland. I know you are an animal lover and we are quite possibly the squirrel capital of the Northwest. We have a large statue of a squirrel on the grounds of our library in the center of town. We also have Nutty Narrows Bridge, a small suspension bridge stretched across a busy street in the center of town that is for the safety of our fuzzy-tailed friends. It was built several years ago by a contractor who was concerned for the squirrels' safety getting across the street. It was recently refurbished and moved to its current location, about a block from the original spot.

As you were giving away the X Boxes, my 20 yr. old grandson walked through the room....and he said ""WHAAAAT"???????? I wish I was there! This got a big laugh from me!

hi ellen, i'm not sure how to ask this question and i don't want to seem laim, but how do you manage to have a sucessful talk show and live your personal life as a lesbian and it not affect you? i ask this because i to am a lesbian. i'm also a mom of two wonderful children and i have a partner and we manage, but it's very hard when society looks down on us and makes us feel less as woman and even less as human beings. my kids have a hard time, not with my lifestyle but with the other kids and their parents. they get asked all the time is that your daddy, and why does your mom dress like a boy. i'm not going to change who i am , but can you tell me some suggestions on how to make things easier for my kids...

Hi Ellen, I've written to you this Last week about my Attendant-Partner. Alex is turing 50 on November 16th and so is her twin sister Eileen.I'm a 51 year old Quadriplegic who Irene(Alex) works for me. I'm writting again to ask if you'd give both girls a call or just call Alex to tell her and her sister Happy Birthday from you and I. I can't afford to take them to dinner but if you could tell them Happy Birthday on November 16th, I'd really appreciate it and I know that would work just as well. Thank you so much, Ellen I hope you can do it. Thanks again, Pam Ortega

COME to WISCONSIN, we are a very humble cheesy place. And I want to meet you!

Hi Ellen, I live in Australia and I love your show. You are a great insperation. I was going to send you an email but I found that the email section is set up for USA residents only. I was wondering if you could look into changing this so that your Australian fans can write you aswell. I would also like to say that I'm a veterinary nurse and I share your love of animals. All the work you do is fantastic.
