Isn't amazing how we can talk to you even though there may be no response? I would like to think so. It's therapeutic the way that we can get things off of our chest just by posting a simple comment. I simply enjoy you, Ellen. I am a young, lesbian female and only dream of my parents accepting me after I come out. I see everything you've been through and I sympathize. Congrats on your 700th show. I use to be able to watch your show regularly because I get off at 4:00 pm and then the slot changed in my area you come on at 3:00. I make sure and watch when I can, and will start taping you- duh that would have been a solution. Anyway, you make me smile when I see you. here'e my request/story. i've requested a ticket to your 12 days of giveaways and this is the first time in all of your tapings that i have requested a ticket. i've been a fan of yours since your mullet days! i'm medically retired since a car accident in 1998 and this year has been the hardest year of my life. i have a 32 year old daughter that has fought cervical cancer this year and three beautiful grandchildren. i live on a small fixed income....just under $600 dollars a month i am hoping you could see fit to make it happen to get me in on the day that i am requesting so that whatever the "prize" is i can give it to my family for christmas...as i can't make christmas happen with the small amount of money that i live on every month. thank you for reading this and considering my request! god bless you for all you do to make others happy! and thank you for making me laugh on the hard days!
