Ellen I watch your show everytime I get a chance. I know this may seem unethical of me but can you please help us save our home. My husband and I are both pshysically disabled and my son has autism. I made a personal loan from someone whom I considered a friend and she lied to obtain an attorney to sue me becuase I couldn't pay her back in full. I have been making payments to her monthly and as of right now I owe her 23100.00 and only my 5 year old son and I receive disability. She is wanting me to sign over my deed of trust to her after proving she lied in the summons in three clauses. I am about to return to school so I can do something better with my life I hope and I am going to try to get my husband to get a degree as well so we will have more income. I am very grateful that somebody loaned me the money but I had no idea she would just stab me in the back or else I would have waited and bought something else for the stability of my child. If I have no choice but sign over my house I will have lost everything and all of my money and to think of the toll it will take on Lucas's Autism. Please write me back with some kind of advice. My email is spicyburrito2006@yahoo.com

These kids would love for you to help if you could, thank you ...aj montana

My name is Alicia Frost and I was involved with Lakota East’s production of Ten Little Indians, and I just was wondering if you could inform the people interested in the cancellation of the play that the cast is currently scrambling to find a way to put the show on themselves without any ties to the school. If anyone is able to help out in any way possible–by donating furniture that we could use for a set, lending stage microphones, anything–it would be so incredibly appreciated. If anyone is able to help they can contact me at this e-mail address (aicila729@yahoo.com)

Thanks for any help you can give us,
Alicia Frost

My name is Alli Lamhing I am 10 years old and live in NJ. I have a 5 yr old friend named Faith has a inoperable brain stem tumor called a diffused intrinsic pontine glioma. It is malignant, aggressive and has attached itself to a major artery in her brain. She is at the Ronald McDonald House in NYC. Every day when she takes her radiation treatment she listens to High School Musical on her headphones. I know she would really like to meet the cast of High School Musical. I was wondering if you could ask one of them to go and visit her. She is from Florida and she is really sad because she misses her family and friends. If you want to read more about her you can go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/faithgriffin. I am trying to think of a way to raise money for brain stem tumor research but I have not come up with a good fundraiser yet. If you have any ideas can you let me know? Because I know you have lots of ideas because you raised alot of money for breast cancer.Thanks. Alli Lamhing

My father is a deputy for a local police station and last week he was dispatched to a call about a man trespassing, come to find out this man was a landlord and was letting himself in to this womans apt because she was behind on her rent. He later found out this woman was behind on her rent because she is unable to work while taking care of her terminally ill granddaughter. This seven year old little girl is fighting for her life against cancer and because her grandma is unable to work and pay rent they are being evicted from their apt. and will not be able to have a christmas which may be her last. when i heard my dad tell me this i started to cry we are trying everything to make this christmas very special for her but we are not able to do it alone... what i wanted to know is if there is anything you can help us with, any little thing would be greatful...
thank you for you time,

nicole

Hi,
Just wanted to also thank you for having Darius and Logan on your show. My 4 year old son is also dying of DMD, and with the research so close to a breakthrough, getting attention to the work that Charley's Fund is doing is so critical. The movie is fantastic - very uplifting - I would encourage everyone to order a copy. It will change the way you look at your own life.

Dear Ellen,

This summer my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer and it has been really hard on the whole family, although we never let her know that. She is just starting to lose her hair from the chemotherapy and its hard for her to have to go through. I have been searching the internet and calling everywhere to find someone who will take my hair as well as some other family members and make her a wig. I know she can get any wig any time but this would be better coming from family. No one apparently does this. I was hoping you could help us out, maybe you know someone who can do this. She is such an amazing woman and we just want ot give her a little something back for always being there for us.
THank you, Wendy

This was one of the coolest things Ellen, thanks for bringing it to us. I'll be rooting for them come Oscar time.

Dear Ellen,

I was searching the internet tonite and came across a hystrical interview that Hannah Storm had on the Early Show, November 26th 8 year old 3rd grade twin boys by the name of Jared and Justin Serovitch from Columbus, Ohio who have invented "Wedgie Proof Underwear" that they have named Rip Away 1000. They are adorable and I think that you and your audience would get the biggest kick out of seeing this invention. Who knows you might even talk them into letting them sell them with your name on them.

Love your show, hope you can get them on.

Just on a private note I really appreciate the joy that you bring to my day. I look forward to watching and would love to come to see your show especially during the 12 days of Giveaways. If you could save me space for 2 seats I would never say no. Keep up the great job!!

Dear Ellen,
My name is Courtney Blackburn and I am 19 years old. I have a beautiful daughter named Raegan. I know you get probably thousands of e-mails a day, but something still told me to write you this email and try to get in touch with you.
I have been trying to save money to get tickets for me and my mother to come see your show. My mother and I watch your show as much as we can. Its kind of like a bonding experience for us(as corny as that sounds). But since I do have a daughter that is just over a year old, it tends to get hard to keep the money saved up. I have bills(like every other american), I have to drive(which means I have to buy gas that has an outrageous price)(and it doesn't help to drive a car that breaks down frequently), and with what money I have left over it always goes towards my daughter(in which it should, because she is first on my list. My boyfriend Ryan and I try our best to save as much money as possible for us just to even get a place. I mean he does work two jobs.
But I have always tried to pay my mother back for what she has always done for me. But I can never been able to afford what I actually want to get her. I never really understood just how much my mother did for me and everyone around her until I had my own daughter. I see my mom struggle every month with her and my fathers bills. Our house payment is out the roof, but thats only because 4 years ago our house burned down. We lost everything. Ever since then my parents have worked hard everyday to get back what we once had. But since we built a house, insurance didn't pay it all so now they have an outrageous house payment. I remember last year for christmas my mom wanted to take me to a taping of your show but on Dec.1st of last year my father was in a horrible car accident where he went through the windshield that not only broke his neck but left a horrible scar on his face. So what money she had saved up she had to spend it all during that time. Even though my dad was out of work and my mom was the only one working and they were close to broke somehow they still had plenty of presents under the tree that christmas.
I remember I used to get so aggrevated at my mother for always buying for my father and I but never herself. But now I understand why she did that. I find myself now doing the same thing for my daughter. Even when my mother found out that I was pregnant at 18 she still continued to help me in every way she could. Still to this day she still puts me, my daughter, and every one else in her life first. I feel that nothing I could do in this world could ever repay her for what she has done for me. But I would really love to come to your show with my mother(you could even put us in the rifraf room and we would be happy). I know you get alot of emails from people with better stories then me wanting to come to your show but I am not necessarilly asking to come to your show, even though thats what I would love to do for my mom but all I really want is maybe just a phone call or even an email sent to my mother from you. She loves you and so do I. I feel that I could turn to you to help me because in a way you remind me of my mother, you help all others before yourself, and you have a great sence of humor. I see you help out with all of these charities and I see you helping people on your show that you have never met in your life. I find you very inspiring. I hope just one day there could be more people like you in this world.
My moms email is gblackburn@wilkesregional.com
I work as a medical scribe in an ER, my mother is also employed by the same hospital. I stay at my parents on the days that I am off work, I just hope we don't miss your call if you get a chance. Thank you so much for what you do.

Love Courtney & Raegan

Hi Ellen!
I am a HUGE fan of you and your show and I would first like to thank you for all you have done to make a difference. Now I need some help to make a difference as well and was wondering if you could help in some way?
I am a physical therapist in Charlotte, NC and ever since beginning graduate school, I've dreamed of going overseas to an area of the world where people are much less fortunate than myself and serve those in need. I have now been given that opportunity through a non-profit organization called African Medical Mission and I am going to take an unpaid personal leave of absence from my job and travel to the small town of Umtata, South Africa and volunteer my services. I am very excited about this endeavor and know it will be a life changing experience. Unfortunately, I am responsible for all costs due to the fact that the organization is non-profit and functions off of donations and volunteers like myself. I need to raise a total of $7,000 between now and beginning of March, 2008 and I need help! I have tried contacting Delta Airlines to see if they could sponsor my ticket but they are not accepting applications at this time. I am running a half marathon on Dec. 8 to raise awareness and support as well. I have created a blog website to educate people on my purpose in going and on the horrible conditions which exist there currently. You can check it out at: joyforafrica.wordpress.com. Ellen, if there is anything you or your show can do to help me make a difference in global healthcare, I would be forever grateful. Thanks so much for making millions laugh. I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
Joy Doner

P.S. I too tried sending this to Ellen's email but an error on line 66 kept popping up and would not allow me to send this.
