30 Seconds To Air

Here we see Ellen bending over backwards to provide her fans with one of her best 700th show's ever. As you can see, the weight of carrying so many shows on her shoulders has taken it's toll, but it's time to forget about the past shows and look to the one that's about to start when there's only ...30 Seconds To Air.

good morning ellen!
guess who I visited yesterday?
give up.............
ok, Santa clause! well, sort of visited. We had a nice conversation, me looking down from the 3rd floor of the mall, he was on the first. I asked him where all the children were, since he was just sitting all by himself! Then I found the nicest young man working at his family's store. He came to the US from China when he was 16. He let me touch and explore many wonderful items (don't even go there you sick minded people) no really, there were hand drawn pictures of horses for only 40 or so dollars, and many, many special items. I bought a music box/clock with litle dancers for my daughter for xmas (only 35 dollars), and a few small items for me that I needed!
this wonderful young man answered many of my questions about Buddhism, China, his own take on it, etc... It was wonderful. He even let me teach him a few things!
I then went down to the first floor to pick up the item that brought me to the mall in the first place. (didn't get it there, another story) I must mention, the last time I was at this mall, I was pregnant with my now 17 year old son. anyway, just before entering "Game Stop," I was literally stopped by another delightful young man who said I looked like I needed some pampering and could he have 1 minute of my time. Well, if I didn't see the picture across the hall with the giant bulldog, I would have said no thank you.

So I said, well, I need a chair, my feet really hurt, (and thoght to myself, what have I got to lose, some 22 or so year old with a nice accent and all the features that I have found in my now 2 ex's in front of me,) and instantly he and his partner had a chair coming behind me!
This young man was the reason I was supposed to go to this mall on this day. I will fill in the rest of the story later. All i can say about thisis WOW....
My leg is stinging from this bulldog jumping on me a few minutes ago. I also have multiple swollen, painful areas on my body from walking too much yesterday. I so so wish I had brought my wheelchair. But then again, I wouldn't be able to type today or load the dishwasher, or do my daughter's hair, or much else if I had used the chair. You see, this disease I have been blessed/cursed/blessed with affects the elbows down as well as the knees down. Basically, the nerve cells aren't firing, so the muscles atrophy, then all the soft tissue like ligaments become like mush, useless. But hey, things could be so much worse, and I live in a country, thamk god, where I can actually get braces and ibuprofen, (and other prescription pain relief if I wanted), so I am grateful.
So so so grateful today! Despite the pain in various parts of my body!
I am so grateful/thamkful for a roof over my head, food in my cabinets, the health of my children, gas in my car, internet so that I can reach out to others, bandaids, ace bandages, ibuprofen!, gas heat, my wheelchair, my children, music, did I mention music??, my exhusband's car with an awesome stereo system, my self, my family, the trees (we are still having fall, it's so beautiful!), bees, honey, canines, dog shows (today after the parade! can't wait to see all those breeds), parades, love those parades, no matter how small or large, people, yes , I am grateful for people, people who are open, honest, and true to their destiny, yes, they are special... and grateful that ellen lets people just "vomit" their emotions, thoughts, etc... onher blogs! Have a wonderful Thamksgiving ellen and anyone else who took the time to read this! Love you all, keep on -----------,
and listen to your disney music, especially "a whole new world" from Alladin!
love beth

good morning ellen! :)
It's a great day because we are healthy and alive and on this earth! Sorry I missed your variety show last night, I fell asleep on my daughter's bed while trying to put her to bed! I recorded it, so I will watch it sometimeJ! WOah, time to get the teenager up, his alarm clock just doesn't seem to cut the mustard! Hope to hear from you soon ellen, I really would love to be on your show and share some of my ideas...

Hi Sara,
what part of Sweden are you from? I'm a huge ellen fan on the east coast(US), and am half Swedish. My grandfather was born in Gotland, now just for military I think, and I don't remember what part of Sweden my grandmother is from. Our family, especially my generation, is really trying to keep some Swedish traditions alive with our children. We have a huge Smorgasborg in a few weeks, where we will sort of reenact the Saint Lucia tradition, and have many of the foods we watched our grandparents enjoy.
I have to say though, I just can't try that pickled herring! I hope you blog again, I would love to get to know you! Beth

Ellen!

Seriously Ellen, you have got to stop being so funny, do you want me to die? I'm just kidding of course, but sometimes I just can't catch my breath! Everyday I have to go through with this and since I have no job and no money, all I do is sitting in front of the TV and laugh at you, or with you is more like it... Doesn't sound like much of a life, right?:) Well, at least I get to watch you show! I have not seen your 700th show because it hasn't aired in Sweden yet. The kid that limbo-rollerskates(or something like that) is on today. I heard that Celine Dion is going to be on your show! The two most beautiful women in all history, you and Celine! Say hello to her from me if you're reading this. And also, when she's performing in Sweden next year, I'll be there! Too bad I can't afford a trip to California to see your show... too bad, too bad... Anyway, I love you, you make my day!

Ellen, Congratulations on your 700th show. Looking forward to watching it in NZ next Monday 26-11-07.
