The distance between Ellen's dressing room and her stage is over 7 football fields long. She doesn't mind though. Her 20 minute walk each way is time well spent as she gets into the zen state of mind she must have for her hosting duties. Here she is, her long trek perfectly timed to be backstage when there's only ...30 Seconds To Air.

Good Morning Ellen. Yes its me the FOOT NURSE AGAIN....I want to come to your show in support of everybody with DIABETES. I know that when your walkin that 20 minutes to the set that you are on your feet and dont give them much thought until they hurt. Your shoes have to be comfortable in order to make that walk. FEET are my passion. I have saved 1000's of toes from the surgeons table by merely educating people about their feet. I also work with the homeless at a local sheltar. I have to work 2 othe jobs to support the clinics. I also try to provide shoes and socks when I can. Please consider having me on your show. Maybe we can make FEET FUN.....
Now I can understand why Ellen is not doing her show to the fullest. Could we suggest she should have her dressing room move to her new house? Of cos, since it is a 'little' further, we can add another 30 sec instead of the usual. LOL :)
Wouldn't it be funny to have yard lines on the way to the studio.. if its 7 football fields long??

Love the show. Don't mind you crossing the picket lines either. I think its nice and considerate of you incorporating your fans' schedule.. time and money to see your tapings. I'd do the same. Its probably mixed feelings but you can't do it all. I like to scream to the world right now... "ELLEN"S NOT GOD!!!... she can't do it all... quit judging." There... I feel better and i hope that helps.

Hey Ellen,
If you tiem your walk perfectly, so that you are backstage 30 seconds beofre the show, what happens if you see people along the way and get into a good conversation? Do you tell them you'll talk to them later, or tell the show to hold on? lol

Just finished booking a flight for my exhusband for tomorrow am. I would go with him, but it's too much money. I feel so badly he has to go through this alone. I'm going to work on getting my boys (his teenage sons) and me down there the end of next week for the service. I'll have to borrow some money. I wonder how Kanye West is doing. Death is so hard, especially when it's unexpected. But I do know this,(well, its what I believe anyway), it is not the end, it's just a stop to get to the next place, in the long train ride of destiny.

crisis in our household this morning with the children... then...
heard a few hours ago my ex husband's father was found tonight at his home, he had passed a few days ago. My ex and I have been divorced since 1997, but we are still close. Death of a family member is so painful, and filled with so many emotions, especially if childhood issues were never addressed and healed. I hope he lets me help him through this. He is alone. And without much for resources. I will do what I can.

Hope your staff keeps you updated on e-mails. You need to have a "Ellen look alike contest" then we could meet - have some laughs maybe fool some folks because I think we look like, ah sisters maybe???, we're the same age and you dance just like me!
And - I wish I could take the 20 minute walk to my stage everyday...
