Last Friday morning I came home to a terrible ill pet. She could not walk she was vomiting and had diarrhea. I rushed my beloved pet to the vet. She had antifreeze poisoning..After treatment and a period of observation she was released. Her story had a happy ending. In the past few months several other dogs have died. I'm going to do my best to see that the ones responsible for the poisonings are brought to justice. I have sent a email to ASPC TV. Monday I will notify the local news papers. I will keep you updated on my progress. Yes I have rescued several animals some went to other homes some are still in my home. Thankyou for your interest in our 4 legged family. Cynthia Cook
This morning I came in from work noticed my dog had lost her balance. It appeared to me she had been poisoned. Of course now she is in the animal hosp. getting high quality care, fighting for life. She may not notice She will be drunk as a skunk, getting 99% IV alcohol in a attempt to clear the antifreeze out of her body. The vet says the antifreeze will not filter through her liver, I guess that is where the alcohol will attach and clean out her system. If the antifreeze doesn't kill her and she doesn't get alcohol poisoning she may survive. I have been searching for laws against poisoning dogs then came across your web site..So just a short note I best return to my researching. I'm feeling a bit sad Bella is the best. Cindy

Hercules (the dog) has developed a lump on his chest, and has been getting sick often. I've had him for 8 years, he is 8. This turn in the economy has put me in a tough position. JUDGE ANN ZIMERMAN JUSTICE COURT QUOTED IF MY 6 MALTESES ARE NOT NUTERED BY THE 8TH OF MAY, THEN I FACE JAIL TIME. BELIEVE ME SHE MEANS IT!
MY DOGS ONLY HAD ONE LITTER IN 5 YEARS BECAUSE I PLANNED IT. I KEPT MY 2 PUPPIES. THEY ARE TRAINED, AND WE LIVE VERY CLEAN WITH ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE TEAM AND MYSELF.
WHEN THEY ARE IN HEAT THE DIAPERS WITH VELCROW ARE WARN BY THE FEMALES SO EVERYONE IS PROTECTED FROM ACCIDENTS. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ONE COMPLAINT ON US AND MY DOGS HAVE NEVER BEEN LOST.
SO AS YOU HEAR IT'S NOT ME WHO IS THE CAUSE OF THE NEW LAW ALL DOGS MUST BE SPAYED AND NUTERED IN LAS VEGAS. SHOULD THAT LAW APPLY TO PET STORES AND BREEDERS ALONG WITH PUPPY MILLS?
DON'T YOU AGREE LIKE ALL LAWS THIS SHOULD APPLY TO THOSE WHO PURCHASED DOGS AFTER THE LAW HAD PASSED? IS IT RIGHT TO TAKE MY FREEDOM FROM ME AFTER SPENDING 2,000 AT A PET STORE 3 YEARS BEFORE THE LAW WAS IN EFFECT. HOW CAN THE JUDGE TELL ME IF I DON'T SHOW PROOF THEY WERE ALL SPAYED AND NUTERED BY THE 8TH WHICH WILL COST ME SPEND $ 1,800 I GO TO JAIL?

COUNTRY WIDE REFUSES TO GIVE ME KEYS FOR CASH EVEN THOUGH THE PLACE WAS LEFT IN A CONDITION.
I CAN KISS MY DEPOSIT GOOD BY. IF THE LAND LORD CAN'T PAY HIS MORGAGE WHY WOULD HE RETURN MY DEPOSIT.
HAD TO SPEND ANOTHER 350.00 THIS YEAR FOR MOVERS BECAUSE THE OWNHER BREACHED ON HIS CONTRACT BY LOSING HIS HOME AND NOT GIVING ENOUGH NOTICE FOR ME TO SAVE MONEY OR LOOK A FEW MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME NOT AT THE LAST MINUTE.
PULLED OVER FOR NO INSURANCE AND A FIX IT TICKET BY A POLICE FOR NO HEADLIGHT WHICH RUNS $300.00 WHICH IS ALSO COMMING UP NEXT MONTH AND NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED ON THE CAR TO SHOW THE COURTS.
CAN'T AFFORD MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR MYSELF OR CAR INSURANCE ANYMORE.
I PAYED AN ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT ME BUCKY BUCHANIN WHO TOOK MY MONEY AND FOUND AN EXCUSE TO DROP ME AS A CLIENT WITHOUT HAVING ENOUGH TIME TO SAVE MONEY FOR A NEW ATTORNEY.
THIS IS TO MUCH PRESSURE FOR ME WHAT WILL I DO?
I FOUND A CLINIC THAT WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO NUTER MY DOGS ON THE 15TH FOR A REASONABLE FEE. I DON'T THINK THE JUDGE WILL BELIEVE ME AND NO ONE WILL PROVIDE ANYTHING IS WRITING FOR THE JUDGE .
