Hi Ellen:

I have to tell you that you make me laugh everyday, so thank you. I also have to say that I think you are the most generous and happiest but most of all genuine people that I have ever seen on a talk show. I love your games and have an idea for you that I received through an email. Four players two on one side of the stage and two on the other. On one side the players have a roll of toilet paper between their legs and the other two have a plunger between their legs. I suppose you can see where the rest of this is going. I saw this and immediately thought of your show.

Love you Love your show.

Hi Ellen,

We are from Perth, Western Australia and absolutely love your show, we try not to miss an episode if at all possible although my 2 kids and myself all work so try to catch you whenever possible. We are desperately trying to save enough money between us to come and see your show. What a blast that would be.

Thank you so much for always putting the greatest smile on all our faces.

Fondest regards,

Deborah, Emma and Brent

Dear Ellen, I know there are people way worse off than us, and that we are blessed. However, there have been some BIG changes lately with my two children and I cannot seem to find help for them. My daughter who just turned 17 has been in 5 different homes within the last year. I had to give her to her dad because she beat me up every day and never went to school. I had to walk around my apt. with my purse in hand and keys to my bedroom. We live in Las Vegas and help out here is almost non-existent. I tried EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. She is 130lbs 5'2, I am 90lbs 5ft. I had her arrested several times for biting me like a lion. Nothing seems to help this poor kid. Her dad abused us all all the kids' life. When we moved out here, he got worse and put Ilana in the hospital for two weeks. That's when I said enough. At the time I had just gone back to work 2 weeks prior after being a stay at home mom for 15 years. Hence, I lost my job. I could not hold down a job for two years after that because of all the chaos in the home. The "hell" home. Then my son started to defend me and started hitting his sister. Then he went through something and when he didn't get his own way cam after me. Well....I realized after 3 yrs. my ex would not put hands on the kids again and was told if I don't turn them over, I would basically die from this kind of "life". I am 49 years old. Nobody wanted to even talk to me, no friends. My family just cannot comprehen all this and does even believe this truly happened. Yes, they are 3,000 miles away, in their 80 and, of course, do not want to hear this.

Well...today Ilana got thrown out of the last home by her caretaker and her father flew her to her grandmother's (once again, which failed the first time) without my knowledge. I cannot find out anything going on with her. My son lives with his father, stepmom, stepbro and stepsis. It seems(and he was always verbally abused by his father) his father does everything for the step kids and nothing for his son. His son wears clothes with holes in it, their home got broken into and they took all my son's stuff. e.g. XBox360 and basically everything I got him last Christmas. The parents in the home make him take the bus to the mall while they drive the other children.

I live with my boyfriend who just suffered a triple by-pass surgery at age 49 and am working a p/t job that pays $1,000 a month. I deliver prescriptions to people. At least it's money and I'm helping people. I always helped people...a little too much. I made that mistake with money and never got paid by. Well...I'm getting paid back now. I cry every single day because I miss my kids terribly. I worry about my son walking home 1:00am. That would never happen if he lived with us. My ex told him he could live with us whenever he says the word, but the wicked stepmother said "oh no I'm not paying her child support". By the way, Cory, my son mows lawns to buy his own clothes. Most of the clothes he has is from what I got him last year and some this year. I'm finding it extremely difficult to find a full time job in Vegas and being 49. I cannot tell you how many times, I've been to church, cry in the closet, in the shower, or just feel numb.

Is there any way you can help me help my kids....PLEASE.

Dear Ellen, My brother in law watches your show religiously. He is mentaly handicaped. To see the smile you put on his face is Priceless. P.S. if you could give him a shout he sure would like that. His name is Jeff Davis In Las Vegas NV. Thank you for all the smiles you give! His favorite sister in law Loretta.

Ellen,
I absolutely love you and usually love the clothes you wear and think you look great in them but, your shirt in this episode (tuxedo), yeah, umm, burn that. It looked like you had a huge bib on.

Hi!

Soy una "fans" tuya. Yo veo tu programa por Internet, junto a mi pareja susa, ya que hasta España no llega. Es una pena que no lo emitan aquí. :(

I watched your show today, it's been so long since i have had time to watch TV. I love it and sure have missed your show. You are so funny and take the stress of life away for awhile.
Glad to see this game...it's so funny.
God Bless You,

Hi Ellen,
I love your show. When you start to dance I used to get up and dance too, but I just had surgery again for the second time in three months so I just sing-a-long if I know the words to the song. Plus when I laugh at your jokes I need to hold a pillow against my lower abdomen so I don't pop my stitches.
But you know what they say, Laughter Is The Best Medicine. Keep me laughing!!!!!
Thanks, Kelly Smilowitz ( pronounced Smile-oh-wits )

Enjoy watching your show. You make me laugh.
Thanks for being yourself.

Dear Ellen and staff,
Getting the audience involved with " Are You Smarter Then Someone in the Fifth Row" is a fabulous idea. It just shows that you love your audience and you rock girl.

I love you ellen can't get enough of your show you are smart, pretty, and very witty, you make my day everyday, when life gets you down turn to ellen to make you smile and laugh. Ellen keep up the good work.

Hey, love ya, but what was with that shirt the other day? It looked like you had a bright white bib over a regular shirt. You are hilarious, but that shirt was hidious. Did you pick that out yourself? Anyway I think you have better taste.

loved your lunch of orgainic chicken sandwich with the swirl-drip tomato soup, but i did notice a bottle of "meds" in the shot? what gives? anything we need to know about

hi ellen,

thank you for all you do for the awareness of breast cancer. i lost my sister in 2002 to breast cancer, my mother in 2001 to lung cancer and my only child is fighting cervical cancer this year. i hope that your audience and loyal fans will help you to raise the million dollars to continue the necessary medical research to find the cure so that others don't have to go through what my family and others like mine have had to endure!

i love your show and all that you bring to the table!

I truly enjoy your show - you are inspiration to all women! Your sense of humor and total commitment to making your guest feel at ease is much appreciated to me. I totally detest those talk shows where the host has to "probe and disect" everyone.
Keep up the good work. One problem, though, I tried to access your "marketplace" to purchase items for the Susan B Komen fund and nothing happened. Is there something wrong with the website or maybe it is the operator (ME)? Hopefully, it will correct itself?
Take care
Love
Gayle

You are blessed with a sharp wit. I loved the show from New York my old stomping grounds. My late grandfather, lt.Col. Ralph A. Kluge designed many of the skyscrapers. Mom was Barnard, Dad Columbia, and I Teacher's College. Columbia University where I lived and trained at The Lexington School for the Deaf-many memories. Joan
