Very nice site!

Ellen,
Thank you for helping Jon and Kate exploite their children even more by having them on your show. What you don't feel they have made enough of these children ? Are you a fan of watching innocent children lose their privacy on TV ? Did you enjoy watching them take a bath, shower, vomit, sitting on their potties or be sent to a laundry room floor because of being sick ?
Reality show, how real is complaining about money when you have everyone paying your pay ?
Jon and Kate..get a job and let your children have their privacy back.
Ellen....don't encourage their behaviour.
TLC...cancel the show while the children have a chance at a normal life. Also, take a bit of the house money you are giving them and put it in an account for Therapy. Kate and Maddy need it, the others will soon.
Jon, get a freaking back bone. Stand up for yourself and YOUR children.
Child Protective services.....where the hell are you ??

Amazing site.
Thanks, webmaster.

Ellen you have to look at this website animal rescue group there website is rescueink.org and there myspace.com/rescueink all over the news and just on mike and juliet show .

Hey there Ellen My name is Ashley and I am a 23 year old mother of four 3 boys and 1 girl. They are 6,4,2,1 so I am a very busy woman me and my grandmother watch your show all the time and the one episode I missed was the one where Jon & Kate was on with their children I would love to see that episode. Kate is my idol. I look up to her because Im so young with four kids and she has eight> I would love to meet her and shake her hand and tell her how much of an inspiration she has been to me. I live about an hour away from them and would give anything to meet tehm. My children watch the show too. they always say they want to play with those kids. My two year old son loves Aaden and Leah. Tahnk for your time Ellen and I will continue to watch your show and by the way I love when you dance its my favorite part of your show. If you read this say hello to me and my grandmother Daisy we both love you and think your a riot. Thank you maybe we could come on your show. I could come on with my four kids and preach to young woman that they dont want to have kids when they are young because its very hard there so cute but boy they are a lot of time work and they are expensive. My four kidds and I are living in a small two bedroom apartment and its crowded. but how can you save money when you always have to spend on your kids they always need something formula diapers clothes food.

I have not seen Jon and kate plus 8 on your show. All though I faithfully watch there show. No offence please my mom realy likes your show. I just wish I could tell Kate ho much she inspires me to be a better mom each day. When I watch her with her children I think to my self that I can do so much better. Exspecially when she does it with 8.I wish I could meet her and spend some time with her and her family. Also to ask her how they afford all there family events.Because me and my family have 3 children but we strugle so much.I give them so much credit. And WOW that Jon he sure is a great dad. Most dads would'nt do half of what he does.It would be so awsome if you could some how arrange for me to meet Kate and I would love to also meet you. Sincerely, Rachel Reichl

Dear Ellen

I've done the same thing. I adopted a cat who later on turned out to not be a great fit with our family, so rather than burden the shelter with yet another pet, I searched high and low to find her a good home. Which I did. The cat is certainly more happy in its new home than it would have been with us... Like I said, it wasn't a good fit.

I thought the shelter's efforts would be better spent finding the 'homeless' animals homes, so I found a loving home on my own.

I can understand them telling you that this is not how things are done, so the new family would have to come down to do some transfer paperwork, but what happened is ridiculous.

Makes you wonder why people are doing what they're doing... The shelter owner was clearly putting on a publicity stunt. If she gets it, I hope the only thing that comes out of it are more people providing homes for needy animals

take care

I wonder... How many other people have done the same thing as Ellen? Probably so many that you couldn't count them on a computer. The ONLY reason that Ellen is being targeted is because she happens to be famous. Why don't you fools get a life. Here you (and when I say you, I'm talking about whoever brought all this up.) are focusing on something so petty when you should be focusing on things that need attention. Let's see... maybe we should start focusing on, let's say,how Paris Hilton does her hair. ha ha. I don't know the details, but I'm pretty sure that Ellen didn't do something so bad that she's getting all this negative attention.

I am trying to get a foundation started to donate toys, bikes, books etc. for the kids involved in the devastating wild fires in Southern California. If you would like to make any donations please contact me through my email...I need all the help I can get. I have never done anything like this before, but want to help those poor children that have nothing anymore. Thank you, Jeff Bargstadt

Gather.com has some pithy comments regarding the amount of money actually going to breast cancer research n treatment when companies glamorize their products by donating part of their profits to ...what? Get the drift? Sorry to hear re your pet problems; you did the right thing by confessing your mistake. Not even our heavenly Father asks for more.

Just a comment in regards to Mstry's
I believe that You as well may be posting your comments without the true facts. No one but Ellen the family and the shelter knows what actually occured. However.Ellen I believe got Iggy because she fell in love with him and had the highest of hopes that it would work out. Iggy may not have been compatible with her other pets and their feelings have to be taken into account as well.I believe thatEllen wated the best for Iggy and gave him out of love to a family she knew would love him and take care of him. He bonded with that family and their dog and and the girls especialyy adore hi. The shelter may have a piece of paper with a signature....but Iggy is not the one that signed it. It is Iggy that matters and he had a loving family.

There is also something that some are not really informed of. The hairdresser DOES also have another dog. Some on here are acting as though this family has NOT got a dog for their children and the children will grow up without knowing the joy of having a dog. PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE POSTING ON HERE!! She took a whole MONTH to bother with notifying the rescue about the change in the dogs whereabouts, I can understand 2 weeks, but a whole month seems pretty shady to me!! It does seem like she was trying to hide the dog, and only when the rescue heard that the dog may not have been in Ms. Degeneres' posession did she finally decide to notify them. She had a contract, did not follow it, simple as that!!

Ellen
A comment for john about this breed of dog.Google-ing for information is just not the same as actually owning this type of dog. I have three of this same breed and I have four children as well under the age of 12. Like the children each dog is different. They each have a different personality but they all get along with my children and they are ll loved. Google the word love John! You'll get an answer but it's hardly the same as the actual thing. Love for this dog is what really matters and obviously this shelter has no clue as to what that is...

Oh, BTW, I have not seen any response to the question about what ever happened to the border collie she adopted in 2003? Where is it now? Does ANYone know? Does SHE know? It is no longer with her. Adopt and give away, adopt and give away. Someone needs to ask her why she does this. An adoption is supposed to be forever, you are giving them a forever home.

Do a search on this type of dog and you will clearly see that it is not a good dog for children. Do some research instead of just blindly jumping on the bandwagon becuase it is a celeb who wants your sympathy.

IN THE END WHAT MATTERS IS THE WELL BEING OF THE ANIMAL. If they were a "TRUE RESCUE ORGANIZATION" they would have left the dog with Ellen's hairdresser and her family.! I understand some organziations are picky and blah blah blah....if you want to argue that point then WHY DIDN'T THEY INTERVIEW THE FAMILY?????? WHY DIDN'T THEY GIVE THAT FAMILY A CHANCE KNOWING THAT THE DOG WAS ADAPTING TO LIFE THERE???you don't just go to their house and RIP THE DOG AWAY FROM THE FAMILY LIKE MUTS & MOMS DID. YOU DON'T TREAT YOUR CLIENTS LIKE THAT IF YOU'RE A PROFESSIONAL RESCUE ORGANIZATION. WOW. THAT PLACE IS PATHETIC.

Dear Ellen,

I too encountered a clause in a rescue contract about having to return a dog to a shelter. I asked if a disaster were to befall my husband and I, could my adult son apply for custody of the dog. I was told no. The dog would be removed and put into foster care. I removed my name from their waiting list.

I then asked our local shelter if we could have prepared some kind of disclaimer to their contract in order to give our vet or closest friends first chance to adopt our dog in a crisis, keeping in mind that to date I have NEVER given up a dog. His response was that never at any time did the shelter wish to keep a dog from a loving home if one were to be available.

If I had been the owner of the rescue, I first would have wanted to interview the family and make certain that the dog would be safe and happy. Then (in the interest of my rescue) I'd have tried to enlist your help in raising public awareness and gaining support to better enable me to place more dogs in loving homes. Thinking in terms of the number of viewers you must have, WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY!!!! What a very different outcome this might have had.

Really feel badly for you, Ellen.

Kathi

Honestly, the adoption organization were acting completely within their rights. It is their prerogative to interview every adopter and it's well known how picky most rescues are. I think they were responsible to include a clause that the dog couldn't be simply passed along, and I think it's ridiculous that it's become such a big deal now. The rescue organization is being bullied and terrorized now, and ultimately can't do their job (to rescue more animals from being euthanized or finding new homes for the ones they have) and that's completely disgusting to me.

I'm so sorry about Iggy, I understand your pain and that you thought you did the right thing. I know we sign contracts all the time, and half of the time we don't read it. I hope you can explain to the kids, maybe when they get older, that you made a mistake and didn't follow the rules that you had signed your name to.
We adopted a dog from the SPCA and I had to go through a lot of hoopes to get it since it was the cutest thing around and was going to be on a telethon to bring in money for the shelter. With me adopting it before the event they knew they had to find another cute dog, because we all know it's the cute ones that brings in the money.
I felt so bad for all of you watching your program, but I guess they just inforced their policies. I think they could have been a little more human and taken Iggy, but giving them the opportunity to apply to adopt him. I understand that small dogs sometimes are not the best for small children, since they can be rather hard handed as we all know.
Anyway, my heart goes out to all of you, but I'm sure Iggy will have a wonderful life where ever he ends up, he just looks like that kind of a dog.
My best to all of you!
Yvonne
