Hi Ellen,

Vancouver Washington would love for you to come visit! We are "The other Vancouver."
We are just about 15 minutes from downtown Portland, Oregon But who cares!
Here in Vancouver you can see Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. From my deck you can see Mt. Hood... well only in the fall and winter because the leaves have fallen off that tree across the street that I wish they would just cut down!

The house is a little messy do to the remodel, but maybe while you're here you could give me some advice on decorating!

Happy Halloween,
Lois

And if anyone from WinCo on 99th reads this...I did apply and I would like to work part time in your store as a cashier.

Happy Halloween,

Dear Ellen,
I live in Leavenworth, Kansas, which is the oldest city in Kansas. We are approximately 40 miles from the Kansas City area. Leavenworth is full of history. Ft. Leavenworth is brimming with history, not to mention the beauty of the post itself. One can view amazing old homes throughout the city. Many of these homes have been featured on home tours which are held yearly. We are a military town and many people are employed at the fort. The Leavenworth Landing area, downtown includes interesting shops. The Riverfront Center which is nearby is housed in a restored train station. Recently a pavilion has been added within a block that houses a Parker Carousel. Leavenworth doesn't fit the usual image of Kansas because our part of Kansas is hilly and full of plant life and very scenic. I have to admit that the driving force behind this letter is that I would like you to come to Leavenworth because I think you are a hoot! I love the way you dance and clown around and make me laugh. Your comedy is fresh, new, and most of all Funny, Funny, Funny! I can guarantee that you will find a warm welcome in Leavenworth, KS.
Please come,
Sandy Lowery

Hey Ellen,
I think you should come visit my town. I live in Del Rio Texas. We are located just 3 miles from the Mexican border. My husband is in the Air Force, stationed here at Laughlin AFB. Laughlin is a pilot training base. I work for the Dept. of Homeland Security/TSA here at the Del Rio International Airport. We have been here for just under 6 years. We have met some of the nicest people here in Del Rio compared to our 20 years of traveling in the Air Force. We have Lake Amistad here that is considered the best bass fishing lake in the US. Our sister city Ciuadad Acuna Mexico has had many a movie filmed there. Such as Despardo and many others.
It would be an honor for you to come visit us in Texas.

Thanks
Darla Beary

HEY ELLEN!!!!!!!

NARRAGANSETT, RHODE ISLAND!!!!

My mom has the best couch and chairs....you could do a show right from her house. They are sooooo comfortable!!! Im sure she wouldn't mind, she's a cool lady!!!

Anyway, Narragansett is a small seaside new england town!!

You really should go to New England.....the epicenter of the sports world right now!! GO PATS-Beat the Coltse!!! And how 'bout the SOX!!! and BC!!! And the Celtics are on the way to the top. I don't know anything about the Bruins, but Im sure they're good too!!

Hi Ellen,

I recently moved to Volente, Texas with my 87 year old mom, 2 elderly cats and an 8 year old pug. It is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever called home, located about 6 miles north of Austin.

Moving to the area brought many challenges with extra permits, surveys, etc. Although difficult in the process, I have a total understanding as to why. This is a community dedicated to preserving the beauty that brings newcomers to the area. They are tight knit and when a neighbor is in need always there. Although the new kid on the block I do feel very welcome and have met many wonderful residents that embrace nature and all its God given gifts.

Recently, I became aware of a community challenge. Neighboring towns, in need of increased water supplies, plan to take water from Lake Travis, which Volente borders to supply their communities, not only with drinking water, but sources for lawns, golf courses, etc. There is a true concern that because few conservation efforts are enacted in these neighboring towns, beautiful Lake Travis over a few years time will be depleted.

I know that these communities need the supply, but also know that without targeted efforts, we will all loose something precious not only to the community, but the state, nation and world---------an opportunity to wake up. We all need to conserve.

Please understand a visit to our community is not just about meeting warm, caring and loving people------the best you will ever find, but also about bringing attention to a community of approximately 600-800 that is about preserving mother earth for all of us. This could be happening in any town or city and probably is in many.

I laugh with you in on a regular basis. There is no better medicine. I also am a very positive thinker and know whatever your decision regarding a visit (and BTW you are welcome to stay here w/me, mom, the cats and dog-------we would have a ball), will be the most positive decision for all concerned. Life is truly about embracing the challenges as well as the good times. There are positive experiences in all and all is with purpose.

Anyway, thanks for all you are doing. You are a gift.

Love,
Linda

Hi, Ellen. I live in the best small city in the country, and we would love to have you visit. Gloucester, Massachusetts is famous for its fishing fleet, its beaches, its proximity to whale feeding grounds, and its overall pictuesque quality. It is a diverse city, with some of the nation's oldest mansions, struggling working class folks and immigrants, and everyone in-between. We are truly a cross-section of americans. The fishing industry is currently in crisis, and the city is working hard to survive. My family has owned a whale-watching business for over 25 years, since my husband stopped fishing due to the changing economy. So, come see us and we'll show you the most beautiful small city in the country (and maybe even some whales, if you dare!). Sincerely, Deborah Frontierro

Hey Ellen! I wanted to ask you to come see where I live in.....Lexington, KY!!! Yeah, the good ole BLuegrass state. Have you ever been to KY? We BLEED BLUE here. UK fans are the craziest people you will ever meet.I know you like to be kinda crazy too so I thought you would fit right in here. You should come and we could go to a UK basketball game. Also, this is a true college town and I know so many students that would love to meet you and show you around this awesome city. I hope you come. We could eat hot browns and drink bourbon!!! It would be fun.
Thanks,
Jennifer Davis

Hi Ellen,
I think you should consider my home down of Delta, PA. Depending upon the time of year, it is the smellest place you will ever visit. Cows, pigs, chickens, etc. However, everybody knows everybody, everybody calls you friend. (Hmm, sounds like a good line for a song.) Though, in the past this wouldn't be necessary, but the way things are today, I am volunteering to be your food tester. I love your show, and I admire your sincerity. Please consider Delta. I make a mean turkey roast.
Luv Ya

Just tried to submit my hometown of Palisades Park, NJ for your consideration but it insisted on a different zip code -- and may be lost in cyberspace. please advise if it made it through your process or not.

Ellen,

LOVE LOVE LOVE your show.

I think you should come to Douglassville, Pennsylvania. Douglassville is about 50 miles west of Philadelphia. There is not a whole lot happening in Douglassville however; our name is our address. Our last name is Yocom we live on Yocom Road. We are known as Mr.
and Mrs. Douglas Yocom, Yocom Road, Douglassville. We have lived in this community all of our 33 years of marriage. We raised all our little, now adult Yocom boys on Yocom Road. We know we can never get lost, in fact our house number and the first 3 digits of our zip code are the same. Many people think we own the whole darn place. Totally untrue, but what ego trip.

There was a time when ordering a pizza, for delivery, the shop would call back to be sure we were not pulling a prank. So to all those folks out there to whom we have shared our name and address, we have heard the chuckles and the questioning. Ellen, please put a stop to this mystery, please visit and show the world, Douglassville, Pennsylvania

hi ellen.. im elaine, 22 years old, from the Philippines..i think you're a great person..i love your show..i watch it daily,,and you make me happy everyday..im miles and miles away from there and this is the only way i can somehow reach you..i just love you and i will support your show till the end.. =)

Come visit us in Peoria. We have a number of things coming up. The Santa Claus Parade (over 100 years and counting) starts up the day after Thanksgiving; and the Saturday after Thanksgiving is the Festival of Lights Parade in East Peoria, IL. This is a parade not to miss; lots and lots of lighted, moveable floats, a Festival of Lights Queen and her court, and Folepi's Forrest, which is a wonderland of Christmas trees decorated by our local schools and other wonderful organizations to celebrate the season. After the parade, the floats are parked in an area that can be toured by vehicle with holiday music to share. Check out cityofeastpeoria.com to view past parade videos. Hope to see you. Lisa Nannen

You have my 100 percent support on the Iggy issue. There are always two sides to the story, and the first side I am hearing I don't like. Things could have been handled a lot differently. Why not do a background check on the new owners before jumping the gun and removing a pet from it's new environment? If there are legal issues that prevent the placement, deal with them first before removing the pet. Iggy is confused enough going to a new home with new people, and then to get uprooted again; Iggy will not feel secure, if this organization chooses to place him again, and that my cause worse problems than being placed in the "wrong" home. Also, the humans have a hard time with attachment issues. Hang in there Ellen!

HI Ellen, I love your show and watch it when i get a chance. However, I am disabled so I fill my days with Babysitting 5 wonderful children (ages 11 months to 10 years). Plus I do Volunteer work for Project Share ( distributing food for those in need of a meal on their table). With my days full of these rewarding projects I miss your show about 3/4 of the times. But I do have a thought for you to ponder, I think you should have your on tv channel called ELLEN TV, ( like the soaps have). Then I could watch you late at night and I would never have to miss your show again. P.S I'm saving aittle of my babysitting money at a time to shop in your online store, I just love everything you have so you will be getting my order soon, maybe in time for Christmas gifts, Keep up the laughter and May God Bless You. I miss you Ellen, Blanche From Carlisle PA

Hey ellen!

soo please help me!!

Hello Ellen,

I watch your show every day and I love it from the dancing to your jokes to your guests but most of all I like it because it is fun and not to serious Like the other talk show hosts.
However I do have a suggestion on your raising money for breast cancer awareness....
You should do a I wish I was 16 again or your own sweet sixteen like the tv show and get performers to perform and for people to get in they have to donate to the cause or you could sell tickets and the proceedes can go to breast cancer awareness
You could also switch it up for an Ellen's Halloween Bash and get performers to perform for donations to the cause

YOUR SHOW ROCKS
KEEP DANCING AND SMILING

Hey Ellen,

I loved your sitcom I was sorry when it went off the air. I watch your show now on my days off, but my Momma watches you everyday. She thinks you are a hoot. My girlfriend and I have been together for 19 years and we would just love it if you came and visited our hometown of Pleasant Dale,Ne. Actually it is called the Village of Pleasant Dale Population of about 250. We live on 4 acres in the middle of a cornfield. There is my Mom, myself and my partner. We have 3 dogs,2 mini horses 9 chickens and about 50 cats. There is not much to do around here but we love it. It sure would be awesome to be able to see you in person. Hope to hear from you.
Live Life to the fullest and enjoy every moment..
Sharon
