Executive producer Andy Lassner hid in this hollowed out pumpkin for over 35 minutes so that he could surprise Ellen during her show. He is still pulling pumpkin seeds out of his ears.

Happry Halloween Ellen! That costume your wore for the Halloween show was awesome i liked it alot. That was so hilarious when Andy tried to scare you when he came out of the pumpkin. LOL

I haven't seen your show yet (I tape it) but had to tell you how great you look as a brunette! Your costume was hilarious! Love ya girl!
Just wanted to say I love STRYKER .. get a big kick out of him. Also I couldn't sleep one night and turned on the radio and started to go thru one radio station after another. Well I can't believe it but I stumbled over Dr. Drew (spelling?) and Stryker's show. Now I listen every night and have learned more about s_x than I ever thought I knew. I'm really too old to listen but it's fun anyway cause S&D are funny and love the guests. M
I work "virtually" with a guy in Minnesota and he and I watch your show everyday and then "discuss" it the next day. It makes our day to see what the other thought of the show. And we both agree that we LOVE the part where you just start dancing. Whenever we are having a bad day we just send each other the message "time to start dancing" and we can laugh and move on.

I love your show!
My husband and I will be going trick or treating with the kids today. He will be Davey Jones and I will be Calypso from Pirates of the Caribbean. I will email you the pictures tomorrow. I just wanted to say I love the show and thank you for being a funny, energetic, and positive southern person on tv. Especially since I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (So we are almost like Southern Sisters :)
Ellen, I haven't seen your show yet today either, but I was just telling my daughter about your trick or treating yesterday...and the giving out sugar and soy sauce packets the day before. You are my favorite entertainer in the world because you are such a good person and really make me laugh! I come home from work every day....get my cup of coffee and watch your show! Hope it last for years and years to come!

Happy Halloween Ellen!!! I have recently been at home since January of this year, due to having 3 back surgeries. I watch your show every day, and you just make my day!! I love your show, and would love to come down to one of your shows one day! I thought that it would be a nice gift for my Mom and I to come down to meet you live. How does a person go about to getting tickets to one of your shows? Keep up the great work that you do every day, and keep on DANCING!!!!!

OMG!! Andy is halarious!! I started laughing when he came out of the pumpkin (actually, when he TRIED to!) and the tears were flowing when you scared him! SOOOO FUNNY! Made my day! We are from Texas, so your show comes on at 9:00 am here. My mom, a very strong "Ellen" fan used to tape your show daily until our vcr broke! So for her anniversay last week, we gave her a tv that plugs into her car lighter - just to watch your show while driving to work! (I know what you are thinking - but Austin has the WORST traffic in the world - you are at a dead stop most mornings!
She called me this morning and told me that she almost wrecked her car in traffic by laughing so hard at your producer when he came outa the pumpkin! Now I can see why! Your show is the best!
Well, have a safe and happy holloween! And thanks for giving her that gift of laughter! She has gone through alot of cancer treatments - and you seem to cheer her up! You are the greatest!

Your show was especially wonderful today, as always! I loved your costume...being pregnant was hilarious, kind of a 70's hippy look too. Groovy! You looked absolutely beautiful as a brunette too.
I also liked, on the TV screen behind you, the pumpkin with your name on it. Since my name is 'Ellen' too, I would have loved to seen it here on the site to capture it and use it on my myspace for today! My friends would of loved it! Loved the way the stage was designed too. Just my style!
I'm from Louisiana too, Ellen, with the same name....how unique! Blue eyes and blonde hair (me covering the gray...lol).

Dear Ellen, these last couple of month have been tough for since recently I have been laid off from work. No telling when I'll get back. In the mean time my morning consists of filling out apps. and of course I must be home by 3 to watch you. You are the only thing that has kept my spirits up in this time od depression. You always make me laugh. Just wanted to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Love your show. You look beautiful as brunette. Unfortunately I am unable to watch it every day since I have to work. A suggestion... Maybe you could put the shows on your website for those of us who missed an episode. Happy Halloween!!
