A couple of weeks ago when Ellen was in FL, she had on some very cute plaid knee length shorts. I would love to know the brand and where they can be purchased. Thanks

Haha chauvinistic Gordon calls Ellen a 'good girl' - I bet she really appreciated that!

We loved "Ellen The Musical"! My grandaughters, Maria and Abby especially loved "Sing through your ho ha". I taped the show and we enjoyed watching it, but unfortunately, I taped something over it and was wondering if I could get a copy of the tape from you. It would be wonderful for my daughter, who is a music teacher, to show to her students who are in grades K-12 in the Dunmore School District.
Love your show

Hello Ms. Degeneres,

I watched your show yesterday with my partner and we sat dumbfounded when you were telling your audience about Iggy. I have to say that I was first distressed at the sight of the one of the world's most beloved female comedian sobbing uncontrollably on t.v. (and you definetely were not acting) and secondly, the issue with the dog, Iggy, I have to say that a more amicable and PRIVATE resolution could have been reached. I don't see why the family could not have been screened for acceptability before any decision to remove him was made. This type of heavy-handed behaviour on the part of the animal shelter will do nothing but demean the work of all animal aid centres and employees. As a very adamant animal lover who's rescued many, I worry that animals who rely on the help of these institutions will suffer as well. That would be a shame.

Ellen, I thank you for your tears and heartache and hope the greater good can be acheived and you can feel a little better about what's happened.

one of your fans, Mo.

I rarely get to watch talk show. But as I was online a saw an article.
I decided to look. I was so upset for you ,iggy and your friends.
I belive in protecting these animals, but these people have their head up their A... Everyone knows you have a big heart and wouldn't have done anything to harm this dog. It's not like your not
well known for god's sake.I don't know whats happening to this
society. Just like when people adopt a child and "might "have to return it in 60 days. What's up with that. I truly hope your friends
will be able to get iggy back. My girls{labradors) and I will be
thinking good thoughts for all of you including Iggy.
My heart is with you, love ya

Hi Ellen,
I watch your show almost every day and do enjoy it. You don't act "stuck up" like so many celebrities. I love it when your mother is on so have her on a lot! I missed several shows at the first of this season and didn't hear why Stryker is on instead of the cute kid you had on last year. Keep up the good work.

Today I tuned in late as I was fixing a late breakfast for my husband due to a change in his work schedule. I heard you apologize to the audience and was confused as you are always so upbeat and funny. I decided to go to your website to find out why you seemed so sad and cried with you as I watched you explain what had happened with Iggy. Obviously some unreasonable person in that organization doesn't have their head on straight or wanted to make a name for themselves and get some publicity for the organization, albeit BAD publicity. Of all the people to do this to is one who is so loving and generous and has a heart of gold. I truly love you Ellen and will ask God to comfort you. You did the right thing for Iggy to find him a loving forever home. I hope they reconsider and let the girls have Iggy back.Blessings & Chin up Ellen, Much love-- Nana Nancy (I'm 72 and I volunteer to be your Nana!!! )

Ellen- regarding the dog: let's suppose that, for some reason, your hairdresser is unable to keep the pup. She is very financially beholden to you. Do you think she would tell you that 1-she gave it away or-2- she took it to a SHELTER? That is what could happen-and that is why the dog needed to be returned to that org. Let your hairdresser apply appropriately for the dog, signing a contract, and then they can all live happily ever after. That way, the org. KNOWS where the dog is-and not back into a shelter or worse.
I adopted 2 dogs that way, so I know of what I speak.

The same thing happened to me but with two kittens that I addopted but then found out I was allergic to them. They made me take them out of the wonderful home that I found for them and give them back so they could be put into a cage. What is wrong with people.

Ellen I think you did a good thing finding a home for iggy. The animal rescue should be ashamed for making such a big deal about it and taking the dog away from its new home. They obviously only want the dog back so they can make more money off of him. They could charge the normal fees or more because it was owned by you. If you ask me I think there in it for the money so good for you shame on the rescue.

Dear Ellen,

I have fallen in love with your show, your stand-up, and your willingness to help others. I really admire you as a person. You don't normally see a lot of famous people help others in need. If I had a choice to meet one famous person, it would be you. You act like a real person. I saw your show today about your puppy and the adoption agency. I was in tears. It's a shame how things turn out when all you want to do is help people. I hope they will give back the puppy. And just know that you have helped and inspired so many others. Keep up the great work and keep using your big heart.

Thanks so much for all that you do,
Carolyn M. in Delaware.

Hey El...It was quite devastating to see you in such pain today. Someone who always knows exactly how to brighten up people's days and I thought "I wish I could be there for her as she has always been for us." However, besides it being such a horrible thing that they did to you and that family (which I'm sure will be fixed and righted) It was hard to see your pain though I think it made you closer and more real to your loyal viewers. Its hard to say that in such a terrible time for you, I guess just thank you for sharing your pain with us because it gives us a chance to really see you and see that even you have bad days. So if you ever need a smile, you can always call me and I'd be happy to give back a sliver of what you have given all of us! We love ya!
-Joe
