Thank you so very much for recognizing Larry Himmel from San Diego. It made all of us sad to see his house burn. One thing you may not know, he continued to report on the fire all that day. The station gave him the rest of the week off but he was back on the air reporting after two days. That takes a very big person.
Keep up the good work. I watch your show everyday.
You are one of the best people on TV.Thank you for being you.

Hi Ellen!

My co-worker Tanya & I watch your show every afternoon in our office in Alpine, CA (a very small town in the eastern part of San Diego County, affected by the 2003 Firestorm & seriously threatened by the fires last week). However, today 10/30/07, I had to make a trip to the DMV. Wouldn't you know it, while waiting an eternity for my # to be called, Tanya called to tell me that Larry Himmel was a guest on your show. I was so bummed that I missed it. Larry Himmel is the best news reporter in San Diego, bar none!! When my grandparents celebrated their 70th Anniversary, he came to our home & did a wonderful feature story on them for the evening news. He is the most sincere, caring & down to earth gentleman & treated them & their story with such love & respect.

I had hoped to be able to see the video of your visit with Larry somewhere on your website when I got home this evening. But, haven't been able to find it. Just wondering if there is a way for me to see Larry's appearance on your show? Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!!

Love your show! It really brightens up our office in the afternoon!

Thanx!
Beckey Jackson

P.S. I'll be turning the "BIG 5 0" in 2008, too! I was born May 30, 1958. Glad to know there is still someone out there that is older than me, even if only a couple of months! If you have a "turning 50" show, I would love to be in the audience.

Hi Ellen,
I just wanted to let you know that your biggest fan is my 3 year old daughter. She just turned 3 at the beginning of October and I asked her what she wanted to do and she asked if we could watch 'Ellen'. She laughs every time you come on and she just loves to dance when you are dancing. She wiggles her little booty everytime she hears your theme song. I started watching your show when I was on maternity leave for her and any day I had off of work there after and she would stop everything to watch you pretty much since she was born.
Oh and we would love one of the grill machines that Striker was so crazy about.

Thanks,
Jessica

I've always liked Ellen so much..she is a great comedian! Just ruined it seeing that Osama is on her show today...my first time on this site. (I know, I know, I'm narrow minded) but I'm for Hillary!!

Hi Ellen, I would really like one of the steam, grilling or whatever else that machine will do. I have just started attempting to loose some weight and that looks like the ideal thing to keep a lot of grease out of what I eat, I would really really really really like to have one from you.

end entry

Hi Ellen,
I liked your show with Mr. Obama yesterday, I like his easy way....
I would be very happy with one of those steamers because my son can't have ANY fat because of a medical condition, and it's very hard to get all the fat out of meat.
Thank you for connecting with your audience so much....
Nancy Hann
