Dear Ellen,

Our family has developed an ultra-premium vodka called "SUPPORT HER", $5.00 per bottle sold goes to support breast cancer research and breast cancer foundations, foundations that support women and families to pay unpaid medical expenses and support dreams. We hope to build support within communities all over the world and donate money to support causes dear to them. Thank you for always bringing awareness to the hearts and souls of all who watch you.

In loving thoughts,

Teresa Meyers

I am a Non-Profit Shelter- Walpole Animal Care, Inc. who takes in many cats who are UNPLACEABLE ferral or sick. I have been doing this for over 18 years. I keep them housed, fed and tend to their medical needs Spay/Nuter, sickness etc. I am asking for any donations that may be within your reach to help provide for these cats and senior dogs too. I could use help with providing them quality foods. I have a Fed Tax ID# to show that I am a non-profit agency and just trying to help this very necessary cause.

Please remember Ellen's favorite Albert Schwiitzer qoute,
Until man finds compassion for all living things, he will not himself find peace.
Please try to not eat small animals, they also have a right to be. If you havre a hard time being a vegatarian, then just cut down. Save as many from torturouse existance as you can. If you do purchase meat, then do so from Whole Foods or somewhere there is protocal, for the raising and slaughter of the animals. Please avoid buying meat from factory raised resources. These are among the most money hungry ways to make a buck.(why you get a whole bucket of chicken for 6.99) These animals are raised for pennies and the people calling the shots, are not the ones who do the killing---so no one takes any responsibility. That leaves you and I.
Karma, Its not just about acting right, anymore.
You can write to me about any of the many difficulties facing animals these days,

Also please check on your upcoming presidential electorate choice, and find out where they stand on issues facing animals.

Hi, Ellen! This is a tear jerker. Do you have a box of tissues near you?I was just thinking about breast awhereness month. I have a strange request for you. Could you spread the word
to cat lovers out there, that cats get breast cancer too! I had a mother cat 12 years old & a daughter cat 11 years old who got breast cancer at the same time. In March of 2006 I felt lumps on my 2 Siamese cats. I took them both to vet right away. At first vet thought they just had an infection. But when I brought them back. She
said it was breast cancer. At first she said she would do a biopsy, remove the small tumors. She gave me a price. Then I asked her since I have 2 cats having to have same surgery could I have a discount. Then she changed her tune. It's not like I wanted a freebie. I told her I am on social security disability because of MS. You think she would give me a break! NOOOO! Then she said I would like you to take your cats to a
cancer specialist.I asked her do you think she will ive me a discount since there are 2 cats. She said I think she charge $75.00 an office visit. She said the other vet said with breast cancer in cats they would have to remove all breast on that side where the tumor is or it would spread. She said she would call me back. But she never did. I did not know the vets name,
phone # or address. I called vet back they told me vet went on vacation. Then I found out she was gone for 2 months. Then I wrote her a letter. No response. Then I called again the secretary said she would call me even if it was
late in the evening. She did not call me. By then the tumor had grew in the daughter cat. Then she started biting it & making it bleed. So I got this new thing called a pro collar. It looks more comfortable than the old cone collar. Well after awhile that started deflating. She started
biting the tumor again. In Feb. I took her to a different Vet. At that time I told the vet I could not have her put to sleep. He said no just keep her comfortable. But the tumor smelled so bad I had to wipe it everyday to keep it clean. It was like gangreene. So bad that it looked like she was trying to bite it out. It started
like it was hanging there. So I had to make the hardest decision of my life. I had to have her put to sleep. I could not watch. I was crying my head off.
Then 4 days later I had to make another hard decision. The mother cat was so upset about her daughter not coming home she started biting her tumor. She bit a hole right through her tumor &
it was bleeding. I took her to vet to have her put to sleep . Sunshine would not look at me
That hurt me alot. She knew something was up. I put my hand into the cage & lifted her head & said I'm sorry. I was crying uncontrollable.
I haven't stopped crying since. Everytime I think of something they did that was funny I would start to cry. I loved those cats so. That first vet could have saved those cats both choosed not too. Money & greed is all that vet cared about.
I know you probably won't read this email on your show since it is so long. But PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT THAT CATS GET BREAST CANCER ALSO.TELL YOUR FANS TO GIVE THEIR CATS BREAST EXAMS. MY MISTAKE WAS KEEP TRYING TO GET INTOUCH WITH THAT SAME VET WHO DIDN"T CARE! IT WAS TOO LATE WHEN I WENT TO A DIFFERENT VET!BUT I FOUND THE TUMORS EARLY ENOUGH BUT THAT VET DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH.
Thanks for listening! I hope you get to read this.

I watch your show daily and cancer is such a big thing in my life right now. My mother was diagnosed in Jan.07 and had a mastectomy and now Sept.07 my father has stage 3 lung cancer. Our family is having a hard time with this, we are all very close and live side by side. We are praying for a miracle. We are very worried about mother, they have been married 57 years, and I know we are lucky but it is still so hard. The disease is so terrible to so many, my dream is good people like you can make a difference. We need to find a cure for cancer instead of alot of other things our money is spent for, to keep other family's from the pain of watching their loved ones suffer.
Thank you Ellen for making me laugh, you are a kind person.

Hi Ellen,

I must say that while I think it is wonderful all the fundraising etc for Breast Cancer, I need to ask what about other cancers? Enough with the breast already...what about Uterine Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Cervical Cancer??? Breast Cancer has such a high success rate and that is wonderful, I just get so frustrated. My Mother died at 56 yrs young from uterine cancer.....

Maybe I need to start my own foundation eh??

I LOVE your show...thank you for all that you do!

Dear Ellen,
Breast Cancer is a huge deal, but why is there no colon cancer month or liver cancer month where people walk or have big fundraiser. Everyone needs to be aware of these too. My mother in law has had both colon (the first time) and Liver (the second time)cancer. She has had over half her liver removed and given a less then one percent survior rate. She is now what is known as clinically cured. I do however support the cause for breast cancer as we have a family member going through it. Thank You For All Your Support.

Hi Ellen,
I think it is wonderful so many people out there are committed to finding a cure for breast cancer. I admire you for being a part of it.

My question for you is - In 2006 I lost my sister, after 3 years, to ovarian cancer, one of the most deadly cancers there is. Why is there not a more vocal cause to find a cure for this?
Why isn't more emphasis put on ovarian cancer so more women can be survivors?

Watching someone go through chemotherapy and being given false hope then being told that they are going to die from ovarian cancer is very hard to deal with. I miss my sister very much.

I love your show. My fiance and I watch you every morning. Keep up the fun.

Hugs,
Dawn

I know that all of us, including Ellen are huge animal lovers. I want so much for cancer to be cured, and I hope that for all the animals that we are testing chemicals on,we can push for humane research methods. ( we want to cure the very disease that we have brought on ourselves by eating hormonal dairy and meat products)Anyway---the alternative methods that do not use animals are designed to detect harm in humans much better than the old fashion inhumane animal testing done. Please take note of this and be aware that there are alternative humane methods. For more info on this go to info@animalearn.org or call 1 800 SAY AAVS.
Get rid of cancer but not at the animals expense.
Thanks yall,

Thanks Ellen,
You are loved and blessed.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer Oct 12 2006, I under went chemo then had my left breast removed in March, had more chemo, then had the right breast removed in August. Awareness and sharing is the only way ALL women and men will become aware of how epidemic breast cancer is.
I am a fighter and plan to live to be 100, I plan to share my story with every woman I meet. Keep up the great work.

Ellen,
I am a cancer survivor. I have been in remission for 3 years now and The Cancer I suffer from is Multiple Myloma, there is not much said about it, but it is as life treating as Breast Cancer, I just loss a good friend due to Breast Cancer. Thank you for taking the time to make people aware of this devastating ailment.

I am hoping to encourage Theresa Green to get her necessary physical examines. I, too, was afraid when I found out I had oral cancer. I lost part of my tongue, half of my lower gum and all but 3 of my lower teeth. God does answer prayers and He will give you strength and a peace beyond all understanding. We cannot go through illnesses and difficult times alone. I'm a 4 1/2 year survivor and early detection is very important.
