DEAR ELLEN,
I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO. I HAD EXSTENSIVE SPINAL FUSION (T2-L1). EVERYDAY I WATCH YOUR SHOW AND IT JUST REALLY MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN TERMS OF FOCUSING ON POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR AND TO BE ABLE TO APPRECIATE AND POINT OUT SIMPLE ASPECTS OF LIFE AND FAMILY THAT OFTEN GET OVERLOOKED.
IF YOU COULD GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO MY 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OLIVIA AND MY 14 YEAR OLD SON JACOB WHO WERE AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY REASON FOR PULLING THROUGH AND BEING MY STRENGTH AS I RECOVER. I HAD THE SURGERY AUGUST 15TH AND WILL BE HEALING UNTIL FEBRUARY,2008 AT LEAST.

Here's a suggestion: At the usual time when Ellen is dancing over towards the chairs, why doesn't everybody griping about Ellen and the coffee table, DANCE OVER YOUR OWN COFFEE TABLE IN YOUR HOUSE!!!! I don't know about you, but if I try that once, I wouldn't do it again- after I got out of the hospital and rehab.
Don't do it Ellen- we need you healthy, dear Girl!! (Sheesh! The Public wants blood for God's sakes>>>)

I love your show whether you dance over the table or not.lol. I am constantly amazed and inspired by your genuine care, concern and attitude towrds people and everyday life. My daughter and I love your show. My daughter is 11yo and loved the time you interviewed Dylan and Cole Sprouse, today she is going to watch the Mylie Cyrus interview. I love the phone calls you make, and the help I have watched you give people like the girl guide selling the cookies and that car jumping guy.

Hi Ellen and whoever else reads this,
I recently got a job after 3 years of not working (retirement). This job keeps me on my feet (literally) and by the time I get home in the afternoon I am ready for my raw popcorn ice pack on my back and to kick back and watch your show. I just love your show and the way you treat your guests. You are the best hostess and have the BEST talk show I have ever watched.
Today you talked about back pain and believe me I know what you are talking about. Some people say to use frozen peas, but they get all mushy, so I use frozen raw popcorn. The cold lasts longer and the popcorn forms to the area you need relief.

Your home is beautiful and I wish you luck in the real estate market. I know what it is like to sell a home - beds always made, clean towels in the bathroom, no dishes in the sink, etc. Did you have to go out and buy show towels for the bath? I did and now they don't match anything in our new home. Maybe you would like them. They are of the brownish/tannish color and look good in a white bathroom.

I look forward to all your new shows this year and keep the laughter coming.
