That show was so incredible! I love the clip of Obama and Ellen dancing. Obama showed us a more personal side of him. I love him more than I did before! He's an honorable, respectable man who obviously loves his country. I hope the democratic party doesn't take his presidential nomination away from him.

why do ill-informed or ignorant people leave comments against a candidate that is not only a patriotic candidate who happily pledges allegiance despite ridiculous rumors geared at damaging his reputation, but one that has also earned a list of endorsements from lgbt leaders and organizations too long to post here?

barack obama is a clear choice for anyone concerned with civil rights and equality for lgbt citizens. the truth is that neither candidate supports "gay marriage" but both support civil unions sanctioned at the federal level offering the exact same rights provided to married couples.

unlike hillary clinton, barack obama has kept his support for the lbgt community on the frontburner, openly discussing the issues in speech after speech... including his eloquent and well-publicized speech on mr. luther king day.

in addition, clinton has only promised to scrap part 3 of DOMA... whereas obama would repeal it entirely! both candidates support or oppose identical issues posed to them from the Human Rights Organization. therefore, it really does come down to the above two points and the fact that given the "billary" 2 for the price of 1 campaign slogan that help bill and hillary win the white house in the nineties and that hillary wants us to count the eight years as first lady as "experience," then at least some of the gay-related mud of the clinton years has to stick to her, too. in fact, hillary has defended "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" as a "necessary transitional measure," although she now favors its repeal (obama also wants tot see this repealed dating back to his time as a civil rights attorney).

so why would anyone in favor of equality for the lgbt community vote for hillary clinton when barack obama is clearly the candidate who is honest and more progressive with the change he proposes for us?

I find it very disturbing that Americans - regardless of gay, straight, white, black, democrats or republicans - support an individual that refuses to salute our nation's flag, refuses to put his hand over his heart, and refuses to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
Oh yeah, that's who I want leading my country. I am very disappointed. Don't get me wrong - I think everyone has a right to believe what they want, run for anyhting they want regardless of their beliefs...what bothers me is the number of Americans that support this trader.

I love Ellen! I watch it every day. What can I say. The Monday show was great. I am a foster Mom and sometimes the kids who don't know Ellen are unsure what to think, but they know I am going to watch it and they all start to enjoy it also. Where can I get that blue peace tee she wore on Monday the 29th?
