Senator Obama: Our car companies are in a financial nightmare. Due to the poor economony, low moral, and impending doom and gloom of our current situation, is it possible that you can get Ellen, one of our top entertainers to implement a moral/fund raiser for United States itself? Perhaps we could hold a fund raiser with Hollywood's finest and call it "car-aide?". Maybe the best way to start with home, is home.

Dear Mr Obama

I am in I guess lower middle class at approx. 55k a year. I would like to start off by saying I have NO faith in our goverment. I love my counrty, but our goverment has sold it out for profit for themselves and their famlies. And that is only a short term reward, but what do they care they will be dead and gone. In the past it made me mad, but I figured what can I do. Things have changed now. I have a 12 year old son who has never harmed anyone and his goverment has blessed him with a 1 trillion dollar loan he gets to pay off. Lets be realistic the tax payers can not make the interest payments let alone pay off any of the principle. In the homes of the people like myself. If you can't pay for it you can't have it. Goverment has to be run the same way. With the money our goverment waste in a single day I could retire for life and my son could go to the finest college.
I know one man can not change the world, so I'm begging you to not fall into the pitfalls of Washington. Put yourself in my position and make your decessions as if you were a common tax payer in the lower middle class wanting a better world for your son/daughter. A world they did not corrupt. A world they have no say so in.
If you need any help or advice with the common man, I'm here for you.
Do good for our country, not just yourself.

I have a strong concern and question, I watched a 8 part documentary on Planet X 2012 A.K.A. Nibiru that is suppose to hit the earth on December 21 2012, what are you thoughts on this and will it happen? I am concerned because I have a 5 year old son and if I knew about 2012 before I got pregnant I would not have brought him into this world if I knew he would have a short life and experience that!

My question is "Wouldn't it be better for Americans if we all payed the same percentage for Income Tax?" My feeling is that (for example) if someone making $50,000 a year pays a much lower percentage than someone making $500,000 there would be no incentive to gain better employment or make more money because they wouldn't want to be in a higher tax bracket, and that people paying the higher percentages will be more apt to make tax free investments that would increase their income even more. So in other words the poor would stay poor and the rich would get richer and nothing would change.

President Obama,

(I am SO PROUD to put those two words together!) I am a young woman from Rochester, New York. Its a city full of so much culture and tradition. It was the home of Susan B. Anthony, Lou Gramm, Blanche Stuart Scott and (as I shutter to think of it,) Arthur Shawcross. Violence has plagued this city as well as so many across this nation. I understand that the economy is a much more pressing issue at this time. But I also feel that the economy has an impact on some of the crimes. I work in a convenience store in a 'not so nice' part of town. Quitting isn't an option when jobs are not readily available.
I haven't heard of any initiatives to try to curb, reform or minimize crime, gang activity or drug usage since the Clinton administration. What do you think would be the best approach to making our cities safe again?

Oboma i am starting a club at my school its called (A.C.E.) All Created Equal. I go to Bonanza High School and i wonder if you can help me or get someone to give me more info on blacks and our culter. The reason why i'm starting this is because i am tired of us blacks being under treated. So would like to learn more about our culter than just martain luther king jr. I disagree with Maria! I commend all the internet websites that raised money for his campaign (including Barackrocks.com). Struggling musicians took time to write songs especially for him and donated it to these websites! I also commend everyone that donated and listened! It was time for a change!

I just saw this video of where people tourture animals like chickens and cows so that we can eat but i understand that we need to eat but i dont like how they treat them can you try and stop them from toureing them and like they put them to sleep and thhen kill them please
