I broke my anklealmost completly off except it was still hanging on by skin of my heel.Had lots of pins and bolts,had to learn to walk again!I also have M.S. severve seizures.By the way if I could drive would you want me behind you or someone you love?????? Dear Mr. President,

JP Morgan Chase received $25B of taxpayer bailout money. Two days ago it was announced that they had taken delivery on a tanker filled with oil and planned to anchor the tanker for up to 9 months in order to ride the price of oil higer and profit from their speculation. First of all do you believe this is a good use of Taxpayer money and secondly, how much taxpayer money is being used by banks to speculate in commodities?

Dear Mr. President,
I want to applaud you on your decision with Pell grants and making higher education more affordable for our youth. I have taken pell grants, loans, and have worked my way through college. The only problem I have is getting a job that I can make enough money to: number #1 to live on and #2 to be able to pay my loans back. I do not make enough money to pay down my loan. I have only been able to pay the interest. If I had known this from the begining, I probably would not have gone to college. I want to know how I am going to be able to pay my loans off?

I live in the State of Florida and the Legislative Session will end on May 1, 2009. The stimulus money is not being used as intended. Reducing State workers pay by 4% who earn $26,000 - $80,000; 5% for those making $80,000 - $100,000 and only 1% reductions to those double dippers making over $100,000. I do not know about you but something is wrong with this picture. I believe more oversight is needed to ensure that what happened with the Banking Industry with regards to bonus does not happen here and I believe that is exactly what is going on. Please inquire for me if this is something that can actually happens because this would only create more hardships for Floridians and have a triple effect for more loss of jobs; bankruptcy; and more. I await your response.

I have worked as a bookkeeper and Office Manager for a small business in NE Oklahoma for almost 4 years. I have become an integrated part in the financial and personal lives of these people. I love and care for them dearly. I once supported Obama, thinking that things were going to change in a much bigger way than they have. Yes, this is asking a lot, only being in office less than 90 days. Every year the IRS seems to think that it is okay to take $4000-$5000 in taxes for the year. The PROBLEM: Small business that generate maybe 100K-125K a year, minus expenses do not actually net profit to cover this. We spend time trying to reconcile our debt with the IRS by taking out loans, (about 2 year note) and by the time it is paid off, we have to renew the loan for the next year's and file for the current year, falling further and further behind like a domino effect. What are you going to do about this, and soon? Why should someone who is able to get by on his own, even have to pay taxes? We need an answer soon, this can't wait. If we don't pay the taxes, the government can (and probably will)levy accounts to get their money, if we do, we're cutting out other bills (i.e. the van to do our work, the mortgage on the business and house), either way our business (and many like ours)will be forced to close, all because of a power & money hungry system, that helps the lower to lower middle class out at all. Please do something. This family and those all across the US like them, deserve some breathing room.
