I was just wondering if you ever do shows on addictions. I am recovering addict and I have 6 yrs Clean and Sober. My story is amazing I have 2 beautiful girls that have been thru alot but are amazingly strong, my 19 yr. is out on her own going to school,work and now she is going to make me a Grandma she has been thru so much in her 19 yrs and she has come out so strong and together. She was diagnosed with Crohn's diease and has been a TROOPER thru all that so now she is going to have a Baby, she did that a little backwards but she is engaged to get married and I am so proud of her I would love to bring her on the show to tell her how much I LOVE HER and to THANK her for all the SUPPORT she has given me thru all her younger years when I wasn't a GOOD mother she has been GREAT to her little sister that is now 9 yrs and fought a BIG fight when she was born at only 1lb. 5oz. from me being addicted...

I was just wondering if you ever do shows like this because I know it is a serious show and you love to make people laugh but I can really laugh NOW in my life because I feel I am so BLESSED with my support from my 2 girls. If I could write a book believe me it would take you 3 yrs. to read it. LOL

Can you help me with my story -- I am a 55 year old and worked for a company for 24 1/2 years only to be fired on false accusations. Now you're probably saying "just another irate employee". Not at all. I have filled a lawsuit for retaliation, FMLA violations, ADA because of the way an officer of the corporation was humiliated. In June 2004 I had major bladder surgery and was forced (in fear of losing my job) to get up out of bed and work. The doctor ordered complete bed rest. I have documentation showing I communicated this to my employer, they continued calling and calling and emailing with work they needed me to. Now I have to wear a patch the rest of my life for the bladder spasms I've had right after surgery and continue to have. I have backup documented emails proving these statements. Also I filled out an employee survery which I've never done in 24 years but they were saying it was confidential so I blasted what they were asking of me and now they mysteriously can't find it. I have the email showing where I asked for a copy but couldn't get it because of legal issues, within 10 days they made up some reprimanded false accusations. Also they had brought a 40 year old from the acquiring company (I was 52 at the time) and I had to show him the ropes only to get fired within 30 days of legal counsel response which told them they were wrong and had violated FMLA law along with ADA, age discrimination, and requesting some time to balance my life after several years of 10 22 hour days. I had notified them with backup email that I had had some mini strokes the year I worked eat and worked some more to meet the deadlines. I requested some normal 8 hour days and was on new medication. MY supervisor told me to check with the doctor and see if it would affect my ability to do my work. I said I would and within 30 days they fired me. Wanted me to take an insult of a severance if I promise not to sue them. I have security badge swipes proofing them wrong on what they were saying and they would not take it out of my file. There were NO items in my file showing any kind of problems until my surgery where I had been on heavy medications and no telling what I said. My retirement money I had worked hard for is almost gone now and need to find an attorney willing to stand up to these corporations on employee yes employEE rights. Please please help as I'm at my wits end. All the doctors can backup what I've stated on my complaints. Also, I even have an audio tape of several calls made during surgery recovery and one where the director requested me to come into the office a day before the doctor released me to come to work.
I could not recovery yet my supervisor could go on a Key West vacation and not get into trouble. Something is not right with this and I need an attorney who will help me win this case..

Please help me stop corporations from continuing to abuse elderly employees. I had seen it happen but thought it would never ever hit home. I was great at what I do and can't do it anymore because they have shattered the very foundation I stood on. I used to love to work and do what I do in the Information Technology - now I don't believe I can even do that anymore...
