It is a well worn show business tradition to give the lucky 3 fingers up sign just before the show. Coincidentally, this is also the ancient martial arts pose called the "Thumb Claw". As many a scratched and gouged back stagehand can attest, it's not a good idea to sneak up on Ellen when it's 30 seconds to air.

My I am realllllllllllly starting to enjoy this post a note site. It amazes me just how many people feel what they have to say is more important than what another may have to say. Regardless of the topic I feel priveleged to be a part of what concerns another, especially when it is regarding a living creature. Perhaps we could all take a lesson from Ellen who interviews thousands of people and animals, helps humanity in anyway she can, makes us laugh and dance and asks nothing in return.
However, regardless of all Ellen has done for us there are sommmmmmmmmmme who would rather take the opportunity to hurt Ellen even more.
Ellen speaks from her heart and admits her mistake. A supportive stance towards Ellens plight was one way in which Ellens fansssssssssss were able to say "thank you for all you have done",
Oh well Ellen there are FANSSSSSSSSSSSS and there are #@*^ (oops)people just full of hate. Hope all works out well for iggy.
