I remember you talking about buying a new home. If you have not found one yet, would you consider building one? My dad is an excellent architect and maybe just what you are looking for. You can find him by going to Google and typing in James M. Alt, Dayton Ohio. It will give you his home address as well as his architectural firm information and he even has his picture on the site. Thank you for having Kyla on your show. I also saw her on the Today Show.
I love her outfit and the way it looks on her. She is tall and attractive and can wear that outfit very well.
I wore mini skirts and tube tops in the 1970's. When you're in your twenties you can do that.

What would have been inappropriate is for someone like me in their 50's and thirty pounds overweight, wearing the same outfit.

Ellen, I am loving the new season, but these people who are trying to censor your speech need to get over themselves! You should be able to use whatever words you like, even the word Jesus. This is America and being yourself means BEING YOURSELF. Someone is always going to be offended by something you say or do, that's the nature of things these days. Just be you, it certainly has worked well for you so far! And I love that you are now feeling comfortable enough to reference Portia and your life together. I don't think you are being preachy or shoving your sexuality down anyone's throat, but you are sharing enough of yourself to talk about your family just as anyone else on TV does (Kelly Ripa, Oprah, Dr. Phil, etc..) Just keep being you and people will keep watching. No pretenses that's why people love you!

I love and support you and have since I saw you on your first Carson appearance (I was only 16). It is for that reason I am expressing my concern for your new format for this season. Please don't continue in the vein of "hot topics" and interviewing the audience a la Phil Donahue. I and the millions of others who watch you everyday love your lighthearted yet intelligent comedy, your interactions with everyday people like Gladys and your fun-loving approach to celebrity interviews. Why fix it, Ellen, if it's not broken? Also, while I don't have children yet, I know that many children watch your show because they love to dance and laugh with you. How can a child laugh at a perverted U.S. Senator, a sexual preference conversation or at the video of a water buffalo being attacked by lions and a crocodile? As an animal lover like yourself, I had to turn away from the TV while you ran that video. I understand that you let us all know that it has a happy ending, but what really was the point. It made me wonder for the first time why I was watching your show. The overall vibe of the show is different...this is more than changing the dancing segment that was a huge debacle last year. This feeling could be the demise of your show. Please, Please, Please, Ellen go back to being yourself! That is who we want to see.

FINALLY, I am so happy you have a different DJ now. The first DJ you had always seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else...we are glad he is somewhere else. Your second DJ was too in love with himself. There was something about him I just did not like. However, your new DJ seems so much better. You can tell he is happy to be your DJ. And you can tell he is not in love with himself. You may have found the right DJ for the show. I really like Stryker...oppps I spelled it wrong. But who cares Ellen has a DJ I like. Beleive me, if I like him the rest of the world will too. By the way, I am a DJ myself that is why I have a right to judge your DJs. Hopefully I will not have to any longer.
