Hi Ellen!

Congratulations on the success of your show! Love your show and really enjoy your vlogs as well. Like Ruth, I too am a first time writer from Sydney who couldn't email you a suggestion about coming to Sydney for a show. I am sure that Sydney would enjoy having you and Portia here because we adore you both dearly.

Thanks for doing what you do and being you. Keep up the good work!

Can you send me an autographed Ellen's "ABC"(already been chewed)gum card!! No seriously, i would love it!! I wonder if it was mint? or spearamint?
Speaking of chewed gum, i did that as part of my summer job 2 years ago. I worked for a school board as a janitor. During the summer months, all the schools get cleaned from top to bottom, which also involved cleaning the desks. You wouldn't believe the amount of gum that was stuck under desks. Some were hard globs that popped off and flew across the room, some were still moist and stuck like taffy. Some still had a little favor left in it, or at least I could still smell the flavor; good for a few more chew's (I'm assuming, i never actually ate it -ewww, i offerd to my co-workers, but no one took the bait). Needless to say, i don't chew gum anymore!

G'day Ellen
Long time viewer first time writer.. I have tried to access your website to leave a suggestion but it only applies to people living in the states..so here is my suggestion, next time you and Portia are in Australia why not tape a show from sydney, your show is very popular on both the cable and commercial networks, there are some great locations around sydney...
Cheers

Ellen my friend...Why do you sound and act as if your drink, although in a plastic cup, may have a shot or two of??? Are you really tired or do you often sound as if you slurrrr your words when you speak to your writers and to us? Maybe if you had your drink in a coffee cup you might not sound so tired, think caffeine!!
Or you could get some rest. I LOVE your show. It reminds me of the great laughs that "Johnny" could bring out in all of us! Get some rest, take care of yourself, and stop eating tuna, it is sooo bad for you! Mercury you know, is your staff trying to get rid of you?

Hey Ellen today 9-24-2007 you asked about bad jobs
I dont know if you rember Po Folks resturants. But 20 years ago I worked there.my job was making biscuits. It was terrable for 8 hours every day I made biscuits from scratch and they had to weigh 41/2 ounces each yes you had to weigh each one.I made 3.35 an hour.I came home every day covered in flour.I had gotten a ticket. It was 100 dollars.on pay day I went to make a payment and the lady said we dont take payments ots to much paper work.Of course I strated to cry I told her I work at Po Folks and didnt have a whole 100 hundred to pay.She said whatever But you know that ticket seems to have disappeared because I never heard about it again.Anyway I thouhgt it was a good story.Thank You Lucinda Strange
