I hear everyone that's posting. I, myself have just lost my both parents. My sister has been battling cancer for 7 yrs. and we just found out that it has traveled to her brain.

She can sure use a little pick-me-up. There is no help for her. I live over an hour away from her. I would love her to enjoy what she has now. She needs financial help, along with a miracle.

Dear Ellen, I would like to tell you a story about the person who changed my life. Six years ago I found myself in a really bad place,three kids, no job,and no hope. Until I got a call from my aunt Cindy Lou,she made an offer for my children and I [and our three dogs]to come live with her and change our lives.Let me tell you a little bit about Cindy Lou. When she was 43 she and her husband Robin found out they were expecting and when Virginia turned 2 years old her daddy was found at work slumped over his desk,he died from an enlarged heart. That left Aunt Cindy afraid and alone to raise their daughter,and the reason she was afraid is because she has a muscle disease called Myastiniagravis,and it causes alot of muscle weakness. Although you will never hear her complain. What she did next changed alot of peoples lives forever. She moved us in her house along with other members of our family, people thought she was crazy but she always said "What good is this big old house if you cant share it." And this is not the only time she has ever done this she has helped so many in our family through the years. I think that her dream has always been to change the way that people think, and she does that by example.She did everything she could for all of us to get us back on our feet, groceries,rent whatever it took. She taught us thatlife is not about money or material things but that it is about sacrifice, family, and true love. She never held grudges or asked for anything in return, only that we change our bitter hearts. Then after 26 years at her job they let her go due to downsizing, with nothing. She gave us all she had. We recently found out that the cost of that was her house. She is being foreclosed on and has to give up the only thing she has left her house, and more importantly her animals that she loves so dearly. She would baby sit and pet sit and tryed to make us think everything was ok. Her Sying is always the same "Something will happen I have faith." I am writing this letter to you Ellen because through all of these years no matter what was going on she always found an hour a day to watch you, because you make her laugh and you find hope in everything, and you love animals just like she does. Oh and she loves to see you dance,and her son Buddy who served in Iraq for years is now out lives in CA and has driven and guarded you and Porche. But the reason Im writing you is to see if you could surprize her and lift her spirits and call her, it would make her year. Well first off let me start by saying that i absolutley love your show I watch it everyday at 4 in my kitchen! Anyways I am writing you to ask for some advise or something. Lastnight my younger sister's friend had their house burn down and to begin with they were not a family with alot of money to begin with. Her friends name ia Angela and she has a twin sister Belinda and another sister Athena and a younger brother. Their mother is a single mom who is by the way a very very good mother. Well anyways Angela has always been part of the family pretty much and the red cross has put them in a hotel for only 3 days. Well their van just broke down so they have no vehicle and no place to stay. I would offer for them to stay at my place but there is not enough room so i was wondering if there was more the red cross could do maybe. I have been spreading the word to my friends and family and around myspace (i hear its a good way to get the word out lol.) Anyways I just dont want to see them go without, my heart breaks for them so bad. They are origionally from Rochester, NY but their mom moved them out of there because it is a bad area. I got DVR this year and just started following your show (mostly from the past season) and now. So happy to get my day going by watching you. I am such a creature of habit and I accidentally erased the show wherein you had the guy from "So You Think You Can Dance" who battled Scoliosis. He was so awesome when he danced...I was blown-away by it. Could you maybe have the video clip of it on your site? Also, what's his name again? If it is already on the site, could you maybe redirect me to where it is.
BTW, please tell Striker that he is doing a fantabulous job on the show. His name says it all.

Ellen, I waited through the whole show today for the moment you were going to either give the car jumper a job with nike or at least give him a car! He was such a cool kid and seems to being trying to do the right things in life but doesn't have the advantages that some do. I realize by just having him on the show you may have opened some doors for him, I was just a little disappointed that you didn't take the oportunity to do something for him.

Hey Ellen. The other day I was watching your show with my mom... like ALWAYS! and apparently my mom can read lips and you were giving someone your number and she was able to catch what you said.. anyway. I was going to call you because I have a special situation, but i chickened out. Recently I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer... a few weeks ago I got it removed. they are still curious about some unidenitifable cells. i go in for my full body scan for cancer around the 20th of october. the reason for writing this is my family has been the most awesome, supportive, loving group of people for me. i just dont know how to thank them for everything they do. i wrote them a note and i thank them everyday but its just not enough. i dont have money to buy them something because i have been out of work since the 7th of september, i am behind on bills, and i just have no energy to do anything for them. i feel bad i know im going through alot and they are sacraficing so much to keep me happy and healthy. please if you have any ideas what so ever let me know. i know my mom absolutely loves your show and i do too. i see you help alot of people and your jokes make me laugh, and laughter is the best medicine. on your show today you said you recently just learned how to work a computer and you started reading these... so i hope you read mine! thank you.

I just have a situation with somethings in the wedding and I want to know if you can help me out.
