I have been waiting all week to see this guy jump a car on the show and when he came on the entire time i kept thinking i wonder when she will give him a car or some money for college. I even thought maybe you would have told him you contacted nike yourself but you didnt. I love the show and you ellen but man what a let down. hopefully he got a greys dvd.

What an unbelivable feat! Like quite a few others who posted here, we (my husband and I) were CERTAIN you'd be giving Chris at least one of the cars he jumped over. But one of the cars and a scholarship to follow his dream would have been even better. We're with Melanie, above: We were really disappointed. You have so many giveaways. Surely a role model such as this fine young man deserves more than merely a celebrity endorsement to Nike!
Ellen-What a let down...I thought for sure you were going to allow Chris to pick out a car or even better give him a scholarship to Akron University so he could study architecture! Remember...Chris said he loved math.

The nice pick up of the guy jumping over a car is great. After hearing what he does to take care of his family, its very nice. Hopefully NIKE will pick him up for a commercial. Also another spin on his abilities would be if he was shown originally jumping over a car and then in the commercial it could transition to him being an olympic athlete doing the high jump or other types of maneuvers using some other NIKE products. By the way Ellen keep up the great work with your show and web site. I have a daughter whom lives with her two mothers in MO., and I wish I could be more a part of her life and watch your show together with her.

Ellen.... about the fantastic guy who jumped the cars. When they first drove the car on stage for him to jump over, it brought REAL tears to my eyes. I was SURE you were going to give him that car after he jumped it. You didn't..... I then waited until the end of the show when he was to jump the 5 cars. Again I was SURE you were going to say "take your pick, have a car". You didn't.... Honestly, I was really disappointed.
I HOPE NIKE CALLS HIM! What a great commercial that would make for Nike shoes!!
I love your show, I watch it or tape it everyday so I don't miss an episode. You make me laugh.... One of the most important things in life! Take care, and thanks for a great show!
ellen, ellen, ellen. i hate to say but am a little dissapointed. you do so many give aways to audience members who are not in need, and yet this amazing guy, whom you pointed out supports family as a bus boy, and jumps over 5 cars for you and your show. and all you do is appeal to nike , GIVE HIM A CAR, HEC GIVE HIM FIVE CARS.
Chris Bryant is not only an all around nice guy, but he's got an incredible talent!!! The fact that he is willing to do whatever it takes to support his family proves that he is a good man who deserves a chance to advance and prosper in life! Ellen, your urging to the 'powers that be' at Nike to spotlight Chris in one of their commercials is Spot On. Nike.....You'd better grab this guy while you can!!!'. Ellen, what can I say....you have a wonderfully genuine heart!!! YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!!! Keep on dancin' girl!!!

The guy jumping over the cars was fantastic!!! Nike is missing the boat if they don't grab this dude fast!!! What a great commercial. Matter of fact . . . just rerun your show for the commercial.
WOW! that was awesome. Their is no way I can even imagine doing something like that. I tried once to jump a high swing when I was 11 yrs. old and fell on back of my head and had to get 67 stiches, so I don't even try to attempt to do that. More power to that young man. LOL Ellen and staff I still love you guys! MWAHZ
