Give Chris a car!! My husband and I were sure you were going to give him his choice of colors after he jumped the five cars. I agree with previous posts--it would have been so cool if you could have given him a car or a scholarship.

We still love you and show, Ellen! :)

Hi Ellen,

My 11 year old Grandson watched the video of Chris
on your show and said WOW! look at that! He jumped over five cars and he never even took a sweat!

Give a man a car and he has a set of wheels. Have him jump over 5 cars on Ellen with a holla to Nike, and he has a chance at wheels and deals of a lifetime.

Hi

I just watched Chirs jumping those cars .. it was cool .. I do wish he use that talent ... there is something called Mens Hurdels in the Olympic games ... it would be a piece of cake for chirs to jump those Hurdels but if he could increase his speed and participate in Olympic games.... he is in for Nike add....

Wish him good luck with his future endevours.

Chris jumping all those cars — INCREDIBA-LO-LO.
Have only seen this video clip. Live in NZ so haven't seen the show featuring Chris Bryant yet, looking forward to seeing the interview.

Sara posted that Rosie would give him care...who care about Rosie this is the ELLEN SHOW not Rosie and you are very nice u asked nike to give him a job that's good....

Hi Ellen,

I totally though that you were going to give him a car! Rosie would have done it! HAHA!

I was hoping that you'd let him choose between one of the five that he jumped over at the end.

I was very impressed with the young man names Brian who jumps over caars. I have a thought for a way to help him fulfill his dreams. My income is limited but I WOULD BE HONORED TO BE OF HELP.

Why doesn't some college looking for athletes offer him a scholership and we can all contribute to his costs as he pursues his studies in either the arts or architecture.

Just love you and your show...always entertaining

Sincerely, a fan of yours,
Jo

I thought you were going to give him a car also!!Oh well i loved the show like always and loved Chris Bryant what a good person he seems to be i hope every thing works out for him in his life.Your the best Ellen:)

Cheap....cheap...cheap...should of given the car to him...and at least the first year of college paid for then, if he was really serious about learning to pay for the rest of his schooling. People shouldn't be seen as train animals for your pleasure....

That was cool! Like Sarah said below, I also saw some other guy on the Letterman show doing the same trick, but instead of jumping facing the car, he jumped over it sideways, like he was rolling over it. Honestly I don't know how his knees don't hurt, looks kinda painful. Nike would be lucky to have him though!

I enjoy your show.
Do you realize how much you look like Princess Diana? put a wig and horrible wedding dress on and you could be her only she is dead.

Why didn't Ellen give him one of the cars! He was amazing and totally deserved something other than just a shout out to NIKE to hire him (which I hope they do). Moving in with his sister and helping her take care of her kids and working as a bus boy to help at the age of 23! I am sure he could have used one of the many cars that were there! Just what I thought should have been done! Thanks!

I waited the whole show for you to give Chris a car, but it never happened. What?! I think that he deserved something, if not a car. He seems like an amazing man.

David Letterman had some one on a few weeks ago who did the same trick!

Just saw your show on the kid that wnats NIKE to pick him up for jumping cars....Many yrs. ago, when Michael Jordan was the "main person" (I am from the Chgo. area), for Nike, my husband attempted to contact Nike to come up with the idea that you don't have to be a superstar to represent Nike. At age 36 (back in 1987), he suffered cardiac arrest (dead for 7 min.) then had quad-bypass. As the yrs. progressed, he still had more procedures. All thru his many hrs. of rehab...he wore nothing but Nike shoes. He contacted the company with the idea to use a "normal" person that everyday people could identify with that use the product. They told him becuz he was a "nobody" they were not interested in him. About 6 months after "his" idea, they were running commercials with people with disabilities that were not the "perfect" model or sportsperson. He didn't give up. We then flew to NY to the William Morris Agency....got an appt....and then he told him HIS story. All of our local newspapers had written about him becuz not only of his survival, but of his determination of "making it." Once again we were told, he was a "nobody." They were interested in Christopher Reeves at the time and he was a "somebody." My precious husband kept on fighting for his life after being so terribly let down. Needless to say.....after losing everything we had due to medical costs....he passed away in 2002 while waiting for a heart transplant. Why am I emailing you??? Becuz it would just sicken me to think as long as you can jump over cars you should be represented by Nike, however, but by attempting to live and giving your entire life to attempting to stay alive, you are just a "nobody." And you said you would help him......some things in life you just don't understand.......
I thank you for reading my very personal story... I feel like I must pass this on in honor of
ALAN H. GOLDSTEIN....my loving, caring and fantastic husband.....
Thank You,

When I watched Chris jump over all those cars all I could think was...OMG...:)

Ellen,
Love you and your show......Chris Bryant seems like such a nice young man, and is doing a great thing by helping out his sister. Why don't you give him one of the cars he jumped over? I just knew you would give him the one in the studio, but it never happened. I just thought it would have been a great way to end the show.

Ellen,
It is great to see that you are eating a healthy lunch. If everyone ate smarter and healthier we would have a thinner America. Don't you agree?!
Here's a great suggestion, why not post a weekly lunch menu and the recipe for each item.
Now, that would be sharing a lota love and healthy eating ideas.

Ellen, I was wondering what happened with Gladys. Did I miss the show when you talked to her. I'm from Texas and not too far from Austin and that lady cracked me up. Hope you are still talking to her. Love your show. Like that you bring ordinary people to your show, like Chris. Keep the laughs coming.....good for the soul.
